Paris, France - One of the Paris terrorists sought has turned himself in to French police. Hamyd Mourad, 18, who was wanted in connection with Wednesday's massacre at the Charlie Hebdo magazine has turned himself in to police. A major manhunt continues by French authorities to capture two other terrorists identified as Said Kouachi, 34 and Cherif Kouachi, 32, sought for the cold blooded Charlie Hebdo massacre of 12 people. The suspects killed 12 including two unarmed Police Officers, Amed Merabet, 42, and Franck Brinsolaro, 49, and wounded 11 people.
The armed suspects entered the Charlie Hebdo magazine offices around 10:30 GMT and killed staff members of the magazine before fleeing the scene.
The suspects managed to identify those staff members who were targeted at the magazine and separated males from females before murdering the victims.
The terrorists were taking revenge against magazine staff members for depicting cartoon figures of their Islamic prophet Muhammad. After the Charlie Hebdo massacre, newspapers, bloggers and worldwide news media began to publish cartoons depicting the terrorists as cowards, cold blooded murderers, dumb and religious fanatics facing their doom.
A witness captured on video the brutal killing of French Police Officer Merabet on a sidewalk who was wounded. One of the suspects is seen walking up to the Officer Merabet and then fatally shoots him in the head.
At least three French police officers in motor bikes arrived at the crime scene when the suspects were firing at citizens, but fled the scene because they were unarmed. Several police officers who were killed by the terrorists were believed to be unarmed as well. The first officers responding to the scene were unarmed and unable to repell the AK-47's assault by the terrorists.
