Zimmerman posted $5,000 bail and was released, but judge ordered to stay away from weapons and don't contact his latest girlfriend.

Lake Mary, Florida - On Saturday, the Seminole County Sheriff's Office reported that George Zimmerman, 31, was arrested on Friday for aggravated assault with a weapon, domestic violence and booked at the John E. Polk Correctional Facility. A judge set a $5K bail on Saturday and ordered Zimmerman to turn all his weapons to a relative and barred him from carrying any weapon. He must stay away from his girlfriend, the judge ordered. Judge John Galluzzo barred Zimmerman from going to Volusia County where his latest girlfriend resides.
Police became aware of the incident during a traffic stop, Zimmerman's girlfriend told police that Zimmerman had thrown a wine bottle at her and decided to file a complaint.
According to court records, Zimmerman allegedly threw a wine bottle at his recent girlfriend on Monday at his home in Lake Mary. She then left Zimmerman's home and was stopped by police during a traffic stop. She told police that she was upset about what had happened at Zimmerman's home and it took police until Friday to get a hold of Zimmerman. He was taken into custody after questioning.
Zimmerman was acquitted on June 2012 for fatally shooting Trayvon Martin, 17, during an altercation.
