MJS And Wisdems Want Jefferson County Republican Party Chair Gary Ellerman Fired

Both the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and the Wisdems are calling for Wisconsin Governor Walker to fire Jefferson County Republican Party Chair Gary Ellerman for posting racist comments and making false statements.

October 31, 2014

Milwaukee, WI - On Friday, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel (MJS) editorial board and the Wisconsin Democratic Party (Wisdems) called on Governor Scott Walker (R) to fire the Jefferson County Republican Party Chair Gary Ellerman for making racist and false comments. The Wisdems released the following statement, Ellerman's GOP fanaticism runs deep, as he reportedly had a Facebook page filled with racist, homophobic, bigoted postings about Democrats and President Barack Obama.
The MJS in its editorial on Friday asked the following question about Ellerman, "The problem is poor judgment, and Walker shouldn't tolerate it in a party leader...Does Walker condone that in a county chairman of his party?" The MJS suggests for Walker to cut his ties with Ellerman who recently made false statements about Walker's Democratic challenger Mary Burke being fired from her family Trek Bicycle Corp. business or does he condone Ellerman's actions.
The MJS editorial board wrote, "Ellerman was the main source in a story in the conservative Wisconsin Reporter that claimed Burke was "fired" by Trek management...Walker should put some space between himself and his county chairman in Jefferson County.
And, he should demand that Ellerman resign."
Trek Bicycle  Corp. released  the following statement Regarding Ellerman's false allegations, "This last-minute attempt to disparage Mary's contributions to Trek is attributed to Gary Ellerman, Chairman of the Jefferson County Republican Party. Mr. Ellerman was fired from Trek in 2004. His politically motivated characterizations of Mary and her tenure at Trek are inaccurate. When Mary was in charge of Europe, she grew sales from $3 million to $50 million. In 1993, Mary decided that it was time for her to make a change and she left Trek. In 1995, John Burke asked Mary Burke to return to Trek to help with some key areas of the business. After she returned, Mary assumed the lead of Trek`s Global Forecasting department."
Also from the Wisdems, "Scott Walker owes the people of Wisconsin answers to the questions posed by the Journal Sentinel editorial board today. For instance, does he agree with Gary Ellerman's offensive, slanderous posts about both the President and First Lady of the United States?" said Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate on Friday. "This is a close race, and desperate parties do desperate things, but this has no place in Wisconsin politics. Unless Walker agrees with Gary Ellerman's views he should denounce Ellerman's claims immediately and demand he resign from his leadership position in the Republican Party."
On Thursday in an update of the 2011 DWD scandal in Walker's administration, Manuel "Manny" Pérez, the former Secretary of the Wisconsin  Department of Workforce Development (DWD) confirmed to Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) that he briefed Walker's administrative team, including Keith Gilkes, Walker's Chief of Staff in 2011 about two top DWD administrators involved in an inappropriate relationship. Despite the information provided by Pérez, Governor Walker decided to appoint Scott Baumbach as the next DWD Secretary after Pérez resigned in May 2011. Baumbach was actually having an inappropriate relationship with Allison Rozek, an administrator for the Administrative Services Division.
Rozek had raised allegations that she was being sexually harassed by a top DWD administrator, but never filed a complaint probably because Governor Walker had learned of her affair with Baumbach. Baumbach and Gilkes who knew about the Rozek and Baumbach's relationship while at DWD resigned in October 2011. It is not known, if Rozek resigned or was fired from the DWD in October 2011.

Keith Gilkes, Governor Walker's Chief Of Staff In 2011 Knew About Baumbach And Rozek's Inappropriate Relationship

Pérez has confirmed that he briefed Walker's administrative team, including Keith Gilkes, Walker's Chief of Staff in 2011 about two top DWD administrators involved in an inappropriate relationship.

By H. Nelson Goodson
October 30, 2014

Milwaukee, WI - On Thursday, Manuel "Manny" Pérez, former Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) in 2011 when contacted, if Governor Scott Walker (R) and his administrative leadership, including Keith Gilkes, Walker's Chief of Staff in 2011 knew that two top DWD administrators were having a relationship. Pérez stated, "as the Former Secretary of Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, I am proud of my record as out of 110,000 jobs generated or filled in the last 4 years; 26,000 or approximately 23% were filled in the 5 months that I was Secretary of DWD via exceptionally coordinated efforts with Workforce Development Boards, Tech Colleges, and non-profit organizations. As a Secretary, I briefed other members of the administration leadership on many matters, including personnel. I do not know whether the administration leadership team shared the entire briefings with the Governor."
Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) learned that Governor Walker appointed Scott Baumbach as Secretary of the DWD in 2011 after Pérez resigned in May as DWD Secretary. Governor Walker, Gilkes and his administration leadership had learned of an allegation that Baumbach and Allison Rozek, then administrator for the Administrative Services Division were in an inappropriate relationship before Pérez resigned. Apparently Walker knew of the relationship and still appointed Baumbach to the position. Baumbach resigned in October 2011, just four months after Pérez resigned.
Rozek had complained that she was being sexually harassed by a top administrator, but she later left her position and it is not known whether she actually resigned or was let go in October 2011. Rozek never followed through with the sexual harassment complaint, probably because Walker had learned of the relationship between both Baumbach and Rozek.
In October 2011, Gilkes, Baumbach and Rozek resigned from their positions indicating the scandal at the DWD took a toll on Walker's administration. Pérez resigned four months before Gilkes, Baumbach and Rozek resigned for personal reasons.
Governor Walker should have never appointed Baumbach as DWD Secretary knowing that it would haunt him later in his political career for re-election.
Walker, Gilkes, Baumbach and Rozek could not be reached for comment.

GOP Leader Gary Ellerman's Allegation That WI Governor Candidate Mary Burke Fired From Trek Is False

Mary Burke and Gary Ellerman

Ellerman's allegation that Burke was fired by own family business is false, according to a Trek Bicycle Corp. statement.

By H. Nelson Goodson
October 29, 2014

Waterloo, WI - On Wednesday, Gary Ellerman, a former employee who was fired after working twelve years at Trek Bicycle Corporation and is the current Chair for the Jefferson County Republican Party is under fire for making false statements about Wisconsin candidate for Governor Mary Burke (D). Ellerman was quoted by the Wisconsin Reporter (WR) that Burke had been terminated from Trek, her own family business in the 1990's for poor performance. In response, Burke called Ellerman's false statement to the WR as "ridiculous" and "baseless."
Trek released the following statement about Ellerman's false allegation, "This last-minute attempt to disparage Mary's contributions to Trek is attributed to Gary Ellerman, Chairman of the Jefferson County Republican Party.
Ellerman could not be reached for comment because he is out of the country, according the Jefferson County GOP office.
Tom Albers another former Trek executive who was let go in 1997 after serving three years as President and CEO of Trek Bicycle Corporation from 1994 and a supporter of Governor Scott Walker (R) told WISN 1130 radio that indeed Mary Burke, a Democrat who is challenging Walker was fired by her father Dick Burke and brother John Burke. Albers came forward after Ellerman mentioned him as a person who also knew that Burke had been fired. Ellerman has a history of running as a false Democrat in several state races, but is a true Republican. Albers has contributed $500 to Walker's campaign, according to WISN 1130. Burke recently explained that her European position was eliminated after admitting she left Trek Bicycle Corp. when she felt burned out, which Albers believed was one of the reasons she was replaced, according to WISN 1130. Trek Bicycle Corporation has denied that Burke had been fired and that Burke left by her own decision to do so. Albers told WISN 1130 that he hasn't talked to Ellerman since 1997, but both are main GOP supporters who are worried that Burke could actually defeat Walker on November 4, according to some members of the WI GOP Party.
Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) learned that Governor Walker knew of an inappropriate relationship before he appointed Scott Baumbach as the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) in 2011 after Manuel "Manny" Pérez, had resigned in May as DWD Secretary. Governor Walker and his administration (chief of staff) had learned of an allegation that Baumbach and Allison Rozek, then administrator for the Administrative Services Division were in a relationship. Apparently Walker knew of the relationship and still appointed Baumbach to the position. Baumbach resigned in October 2011 four months after Pérez resigned. Rozek had complained that she was being sexually harassed by a top administrator, but she later left her position and it is not known whether she resigned or was let go. Rozek never followed through with the sexual harassment compliant, probably because Walker had learned of the relationship between both Baumbach and Rozek. Governor Walker should have never appointed Baumbach as DWD Secretary knowing that it would haunt him later in his political career for re-election.
Walker, Pérez, Baumbach and Rozek could not be reached for comment.

Immigration Reform Undocumented Activist Jaime Valdez Released On $15K Bond

The Valdez family announced that it has raised $15,000 with in-kind needed donations to free Jaime Valdez by posting his immigration bond.

October 29, 2014

Phoenix, Arizona - On Tuesday, the family of immigration reform activist Jaime Valdez announced that they had raised a total of $15,000 bond needed to secure his release yesterday from immigration detention while he challenges his deportation case. The Valdez family raised $9K and a Gofundme account has raised the balance through in-kind donations.
A YouTube video posted by Puente Movement in Arizona on Tuesday showed Valdez thanking his supporters from his residence in Arizona. Valdez is free on bond, but is continuing to challenge his unjust deportation from the U.S.
Valdez was deported in February 2014 after spending a year in detention. Soon after, he decided to present himself at the Nogales Port of Entry so he could continue challenging his deportation. He strongly believes that he was deported because his father and supporters were staging a hunger strike outside an ICE facility and ICE retaliated by deporting him the same day of the protest. The Puente Human Rights Movement created the Gofundme account on October 22 to help raise funds for Valdez freedom.

Reynas Events And Restaurant Opens At Esperanza Unida Building

The Reynas family provided complimentary breakfast as customer appreciation day on their first day of opening Reynas Events and Mexican Restaurant on Sunday.

By H. Nelson Goodson
October 26, 2014

Milwaukee, WI - On Sunday, Reynas Events and Mexican Restaurant opened after a long wait to get their food dealer license from the Milwaukee Department of Health and Alderman José G. Pérez, 12th Aldermanic District. Ald. Pérez ok'd the release of the food license after Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) first reported that Perez had withheld it. Pérez and an assistant city attorney told the Reynas family on October 9th during a meeting at city hall that the food license had been combined with a liquor license. Both licenses were supposed to have been brought before the Milwaukee Common Council Licensing Committee, Pérez told the Reynas. But according to the September 9th hearing only the Class-B Tavern liquor license request by Reynas Events and Mexican Restaurant, LLC was discussed and then placed on hold by Ald. Pérez request.
The minutes of the Licensing Committee hearing and a live television broadcast of the hearing that was recorded confirmed that only the liquor license was included in the agenda and discussed. Alderman T. Anthony Zielinski, the Chairman of the Licensing Committee confirmed that only the liquor license was discussed and placed on hold.
Alfonso Morales, owner of Reynas Bakery and ICE Cream on Chávez Drive and associate of Reynas Events said, that the city inspectors had approved everything needed to get a food dealer license and should have received the license back in July, about the same time Reynas Events had received an occupancy permit by the Department of Neighborhood Services.
Morales estimated more than 200 people had visited their restaurant between 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and many took advantage of the complimentary breakfast (delicious menudo) and others ordered from their menu.
Reynas Events is still looking forward to getting a Class-B Tavern liquor license from the city.
Reynas Events is the first Mexican restaurant to open at the Esperanza Unida International Building at 611 W. National Ave., since the controversy ignited after Ald. Pérez publicly assume during the Licensing Committee hearing that the Esperanza Unida building is owned by the city for just owing taxes. According to Morales, the Esperanza Unida property will be bought by developers in November allowing the Board of Directors to pay taxes owed to the city and avoiding a foreclosure. The developers plan to invest millions into the building and Reynas Events has an exclusive agreement with them to stay at the location for the next 10 years.
The 611 property is assessed at $1,948,000, but owes delinquent taxes for 2013, $66,556.24; for 2012, $64,103.63 and for 2011, $46,111.73, a total of $176,771.60, plus incurring tax delinquent penalties per month. The Treasurer's Office says, Esperanza Unida has a redemption period of November 19, which the Esperanza Board has to pay at least $110,215.36 for delinquent taxes for both 2011 and 2012 to forgo foreclosure.
In June, Callan Shultz,  of North Pointe Holdings ll LLC and President of Keystone Development from Oshkosh offered $1.3M for the Esperanza Unida property and is planning to invest more than $7M to convert the 611 building into a 55-unit apartment complex.

Groups Want Buckeye Police Department To Release Officer's Name In Teodulo Sánchez Incident

Several groups and supporters of undocumented immigrant that was threatened to be killed by a Buckeye officer, if he moved during a traffic stop want officer fired.

October 26, 2014

Buckeye, Arizona - On Thursday, several groups, from Puente Movement, Dream Acton Coalition including supporters gathered in front of the Buckeye Police Department (BPD) to demand an independent investigation, the release of the officer's name and for the officer to be terminated in the Teodulo Sánchez incident. More than a dozen people are seeking to learn the identity of a Buckeye Police officer who on October 10 during a traffic stop threaten to kill and shoot Sánchez, if he moved while being questioned.
The officer apparently made false statements to his department initial inquiry about the incident. The BPD in a press release when contacted by Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) stated that according to the officer, Sánchez was "uncooperative" and "making furtive movements."
But, Sánchez's video selfie contradicted the officer's account of the incident. Sánchez began recording the incident with his cell shortly after he noticed the officer following him. During the first seven minutes before he was stopped, Sánchez was driving the legal speed limit and actually when stopped he followed the officers demands while the he pointed a gun at Sánchez. The officer involved is a Spanish speaking Latino officer, according to the BPD.
The BPD is conducting their own administrative department internal investigation and hasn't identified the officer. The BPD has stated that "the officer used a poor choice of words, and does not condone the statement made during the stop."

Mexico Offers $4.7M Or $111K Reward For Each Of 43 Iguala Missing Students

Mexico announced that it is now offering about $111K for each student or $4.7M reward for information leading to the whereabouts of the 43 missing Iguala students.

October 21, 2014

Mexico,  D.F. - On Monday, Mexico's federal Attorney General's Office (PGRF) has announced that it is now offering $111K ($1.5M pesos) for each missing student or $4.7M ($64.5M pesos) for information leading to the whereabouts of the 43 missing students from Ayotizanapa. The students from the Raúl Isidro Burgos school were kidnapped by corrupt Iguala municipal police officers and members of the criminal organization the Guerreros Unidos on September 26.
On Friday, mayors from 16 of 18 municipalities reported a shut down of their government offices in anticipation of the mega-march to avoid unnecessary confrontations with area protesters who have been advocating the release of the 43 missing students by the Guerreros Unidos (GU) criminal organization. The GU have bought off several corrupt mayors from Cocula and Iguala municipalities including some members of their police force to carry out extortions, kidnappings, torture and murders for the criminal group.
On Friday, thousands of students, teachers and activists participated in a mega-march seeking justice for the killing of at least six people including students and the kidnapping of 43 students, which are still missing since September 26.
Sidronio Casarrubias Salgado, one the main leaders of the criminal organization the Guerreros Unidos was taken into custody on Friday in the state of Mexico by federal police and military, according to Jesús Murillo Karam, the Mexican federal Attorney General. Salgado's arrest could provide information about the whereabouts of the 43 students that were reported missing from Iguala since September 26.
So far, more than 50 suspects have been detained including 14 municipal police officers from Cocula, 22 municipal police officers from Iguala, 16 members of the Guerreros Unidos including several of its leaders, Salgado and Salomón Pineda, aka, "El Molón."
Cocula Mayor César Miguel Peñaloza was also arrested in connection with the missing students from the Raúl Isidro Burgos school in Ayotizanapa.
The federal and state attorney general's office are searching for Iguala Mayor José Luis Abarca Velázquez, his wife, María de los Ángeles Pineda and Felipe Flores Velázquez, Iguala's Public Security Director who have disappeared and went into hiding after the students were kidnapped and some were brutally tortured and killed. Abarca Velázquez, Pineda Villa and Flores Velázquez have been implicated in the students murders. At least nine clandestine graves have been discovered and 28 bodies have been recovered. An additional four mass graves have been uncovered and authorities are investigating, if the remains recovered are some of the missing students.
In an unrelated homicide, Mayor Abarca Velázquez is also accused of personally killing Arturo Hernández Cardona, the leader of the United Popular organization from Guerrero in late May to early June 2013, according to a notarized affidavit from Nicolás Mendoza who witnessed the cold blooded murder by Abarca Velázquez. Abarca Velázquez shot Cardona in the face and chest while saying "I'm going to have the pleasure of killing you" as Flores Velázquez watched, according to Mendoza. Félix Rafael Bandera Román and Ángel Román Ramírez were also killed. Román attemped to escape and was fatally shot and Ramírez tried to run from another location where the remaining five kidnapped victims were taken to be executed. The victims had been tortured and beaten for several days. Mayor Abarca Velázquez and Flores Velázquez were not charged for the murders in 2013 because the Guerrero state Attorney General's Office filed the case and didn't act. Federal prosecutor, Karam confirmed to Aristegui that René Bejarano from the PRD political party had mentioned Mayor Abarca Velázquez 2013 Cardona murder case to him when Bejarano was at the federal Attorney's General Office talking to Karam for a different issue, but Bejarano never gave Karam the file and evidence to prosecute Abarca Velázquez as he promised. Karam has now taken up the Cardona, Román and Ramírez murder case against Mayor Abarca Velázquez. If Abarca Velázquez would have been prosecuted by the Guerrero state Attorney General's Office for the Cardona, Román and Ramírez murders in 2013, the Iguala student massacre could have been avoided, according to Karam.

Two Vehicle Collision On S. 6th Street And W. Historic Mitchell Street, Multiple Injuries

Photojournalist jumps into action and helps injured man from bleeding to death from a head injury.

October 19, 2014

"I arrived at an accident just in time around 2:30 a.m. on early Sunday to help a man with a head injury that was bleeding and could have died on the sidewalk after a two vehicle collision. I applied pressure to his open head wound to stop the bleeding after an accident at S. 6th Street and W. Historic Mitchell Street in Milwaukee,  WI. I noticed that everyone else around were in panic mode or just froze at the time. One guy asked me to help out the injured man and I quickly acted and kept him alive. I believe he will survive, hojala?
His friends were yelling at him "Bebo" as an alias to get up. I'm glad to have helped him live another day!
Fire rescue arrived and they took over after a firefighter told me to leave, pinche guey. Another firefighter in charge chased witnesses away and was very rude to people. Lack of  professionalism by him. I did my deed for the day.
There was another injured person or persons inside a gray vehicle, but the man on the sidewalk needed help first.
Thought I was getting a story on site and got involved, wow! Kept my cool and I hope it really pays off with the injured man surviving," by H. Nelson Goodson, Hispanic News Network U.S.A.  :)

Update: Police say three people injured, two seriously after a red Acura ran a stop light and slammed into a Toyota. A 21-year-old man driving the Acura who fled the scene of the accident along with two passengers later surrendered to police after 11:00 a.m. on Sunday. He is facing several charges, driving with a suspended license and felony hit-and-run.
Also good news, Noel Luciano, aka, "Bebo" survived and is being released from the hospital and going home, according to Facebook postings on Monday.

Pérez, Former WI DWD Secretary Proposed Minimum Wage Increase Plan For GOP And Democrats

Manuel "Manny" Pérez

Pérez proposed his own economic concept to increase state worker minimum wage without increasing labor costs to companies. He says, that both Governor Scott Walker (R) who is running for re-election and his Democratic challenger Mary Burke have received his living wage proposal.

By H. Nelson Goodson
October 18, 2014

Milwaukee, WI - On Thursday, Manuel "Manny" Pérez, the current executive director for Esperanza Unida, Inc. and former Governor Scott Walker's Secretary for Wisconsin Department of Work Development told Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) that he has an innovative plan, which would increase worker wages without increasing labor costs to companies. Pérez confirmed, that his plan to raise the minimum wage to provide a living wage for those struggling to survive on $7.25 per hour can be increased, contradicting Governor Walker's belief that $7.25 is a living wage for those living in poverty in Wisconsin. Walker and the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) consider the current state's minimum wage a living wage for Wisconsinites.
About 100 minimum underpaid workers filed a complaint with Governor Scott Walker's office on September 24 claiming that making $290 per week or $7.25 per hour is not a living wage under state law. Early in October,  Robert Rodriguez, an administrador for the Equal Rights Division with the Wisconsin DWD on behalf of Governor Walker send out letters to about 100 underpaid workers who filed a complaint that the minimum wage was not a "living wage." Rodriguez wrote, "The Department has determined that there is no reasonable cause to believe that the wages paid to the complainants are not a living wage."
Wisconsin Jobs Now stated, "It is outrageous for the Walker administration to claim that there is no reasonable cause to believe that $7.25 (the minimum wage) is not a living wage...But for the governor to brazenly say to the working families of Wisconsin that $7.25 an hour is enough to sustain themselves is not only misguided, it is incredibly ignorant and willfully obtuse...The fact that Governor Walker thinks that $290 a week is what it costs to cover the basics of life in Wisconsin is beyond comprehension."
Pérez's proposal "consists of implementing targetted tax breaks for a company and workers to effectively bring to offset the labor cost and the taxes paid by workers on the wage differential. For example, a company can receive a tax break for the increased wage and the worker can receive a tax break for the wage differential. This can be done via the corporate taxes and the Earned income tax credit for workers." Pérez said, that "we need workers producing and consuming and companies producing and investing. Together with additional training we can help workers earn more money now and in the future." He is also proposing that money spent by workers for their own trainning should be tax deductible.
"We must empower workers to succeed" Pérez says. Pérez provided copies of his proposal to both democrats and republicans as well as the Wisconsin Taxpayers Alliance and the State Department of Revenue.
Pérez stated, "This is a proposal both democrats and republicans should be able to support because it benefits both workers and companies at the same time. The next step should be to conduct the needed technical scenario analysis to establish the optimal thresholds, agree on assumptions, and implement in a credible, reliable manner."
Pérez is the former Chair of the Wisconsin Hispanic Republican National Assembly and Secretary for the Republican National Hispanic Assembly (2010).

Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico - On Thursday, Dr. María del Rosario Fuentes Rubio, aka, "Felina@Miut3" who posted narco crime incidents on Tweeter to inform people was reported killed in her own Tweeter account. The murder suspect or suspects apparently gained access to her account after torturing and then murdering her. The killers posted a photo of her body and several messages.
Rubio was kidnapped on Wednesday in Reynosa and killed on early Thursday.
The killers added warnings in her name for her followers to stop tweeting crime incidents and warned people that what happened to Rubio can happen to them too.
She collaborated with Valor por Tamaulipas (VxT) in both Facebook (FB) and Tweeter accounts which reports on narco crimes, killings, corruption in government involving local officials, kidnappings, missing people, drug trafficking and extortions, which local mainstream media fails to report for fear of being killed.
Soon after her deceased photo was posted, Rubio's Tweeter Felina@Miut3 was disabled. She used Felina@Miut3 to hide her identity, which the killer or killers revealed her actual name in her Tweeter account.
Dr. Fuentes Rubio worked at BBB Industries, LLC since July 2011 in Reynosa. She graduated from the Universidad del Valle de Mexico and had her Masters in Occupational Health.
The Tamaulipas State Department of Justice (PGJE) confirmed that on Wednesday a family member had filed a kidnapping report that claimed Doctor María del Rosario Fuentes Rubio was stopped by some armed men as she left a busy business district in Reynosa and was taken against her will. Rubio's Tweeter account Felina@Miut3 on Thursday just after 5:04 a.m. and 5:11 a.m., several messages appeared including two photos and one that showed her deceased were posted. Her Felina@Miut3 Tweeter account around 2:00 p.m. was disabled. The PGJE is investigating her kidnapping and her alleged homicide. It's is not known, if Rubio knew the identity of the main administrator of VxT and compromised his/her life as well. VxT has more than 507K followers in FB. Rubio's murder has caused an outrage in FB and Tweeter throughout the Reynosa region and more people in social networks vowed to expose such crimes and what some users are calling a Revolution against crimes, corruption and drug cartels. Dr. Rubio's alleged homicide added fuel to an ongoing Revolution between social network users tired of the daily rampant crime and criminal organizations including local drug cartels in Tamaulipas.
The administrator of VxT has also received life threats as well and a $47k ($600K pesos) bounty for his head was offered in Feb 2013. VxT's FB and Tweeter accounts were disabled for 7 days, between April 1 to 7, 2013, but were reactivated later. The VxT administered Esperanza por Tamaulipas (ExT) too.
VxT posted that Rubio also collaborated with Responsabilidad por Tamaulipas (RxT) another narco crime reporting account administrated by the same person managing VxT, who says that Rubio was the only trusted contributor of news incidents.
VxT is considered one of the main reliable sources of information for people residing in the Reynosa region, since it began to post criminal activity in the area on January 1, 2012.
Local authorities in Reynosa have not confirmed Rubio's death.

Christopher Manney Fired From MPD For Homeless Man Dontre Hamilton's Death

Dontre Hamilton and Christopher "Chris" Manney

Milwaukee Police Officer Manney was terminated by Chief Edward A. Flynn for violating protocol in a pat-down of a Emotionally Disturbed Person.

October 15, 2014

Milwaukee, WI - On Wednesday,  Milwaukee Police Chief Edward A. Flynn announced that he fired Police Officer Christopher "Chris" Manney, 38, for failing to follow a pat-down policy dealing with a Emotionally Disturbed Person (EDP). Chief Flynn said, that Officer Manney decided to pat-down (hand searching for weapnons) without reasonable suspicion to do so and Manney treated Dontre Hamilton, 31, as a criminal before the incident escalated to a confrontation. Manney ended up killing Hamilton.
Officer Manney began to search Hamilton on April 30 for weapons. Two other officers had checked on Hamilton twice who was sleeping on the ground near a Starbucks place and was not bothering anyone.
Manney had received a voicemail to check on a person at Red Arrow and didn't know that two other officers had already checked on Hamilton. Manney never called the voicemail sender or checked in to find out, if the call was taken care off. If Manney would have checked in, he would have learned that the call was serviced by two other officers who followed EDP protocol, instead he went to Red Arrow and confronted Hamilton.
Hamilton and Manney got into an altercation, punches were thrown, Manney took out his baton, but Hamilton managed to take it away and allegedly struck Manney with it several times. Officer Manney fearing for his life, then fatally shot Hamilton multiple times, according to Flynn. Chief Flynn said, that Manney was justified for shooting Hamilton for fear of his life.
Chief Fynn stated, "Christopher Manney, by his own statements in his response to charges, accurately assessed Dontre Hamilton as an Emotionally Disturbed Person (EDP). He made a determination that Mr. Hamilton was dangerous based solely on observations of apparent mental illness, absent any overt actions on the part of Mr. Hamilton. Despite his accurate assessment of Mr. Hamilton as an EDP, Christopher Manney treated Mr. Hamilton as a dangerous criminal instead of following his training and treating Mr. Hamilton as an EDP. Christopher Manney's approach, including an out-of-policy pat down, was not based on individualized reasonable suspicion but on an assumption of his mental state and housing status. This intentional action, in violation of training and policy, instigated a physical confrontation that resulted in a deadly use of force."
The Milwaukee District Attorney's Office would have to decide whether to press charges against former Officer Manney.
Milwaukee District Attorney John T. Chisholm had received an independent investigation report concerning the shooting three months after Hamilton's death, but has not made it public. The U.S. Attorney's Office in Milwaukee and the FBI are investigating Hamilton's shooting as well.
In May, Hamilton a homeless man with a mental illness was shot 10 times at Red Arrow Park from 10 feet away as he stood holding a baton and watched a Milwaukee cop named "Chris" pull his gun to fatally shoot him without saying a word, according to Kelly R. Brandmeyer, a barista at Starbucks and witness of the killing on April 30. Several other Starbucks workers also witnessed that Hamilton was ten feet away from Officer Manney before he was killed, Brandmeyer stated.
Brandmeyer published her statement in the Occupy Riverwest paper dated May 3.
Brandmeyer's and two other workers at Satrbucks eyewitness accounts contradict Chief Flynn's statement on Wednesday that former Officer Manney was justified in killing Hamilton.
Hamilton's family learned the identity of former Officer Manney from Chief Flynn for months and neglected to release it to the media. Manney's identity was made public by Chief Flynn at the press conference.

Full Video Shows Buckeye Police Officer Not Truthful About Immigrant Being Uncooperative

A full selfie video recorded by an Arizona immigrant who was threaten to be killed, if he moved by a Buckeye police officer during a traffic stop shows that he complied with all of the officer's demand and was cooperative, despite a press release by the police department issued saying that he wasn't.

Buckeye, Arizona - A full selfie video of about 12:26 minutes posted on the Internet shows Teodulo Sánchez on October 10 driving for about seven minutes and following the speed limit when he was then pulled over by a Buckeye police officer. Right away the officer threatens Sánchez that if he moved, he would be killed or will shoot him. Sánchez in the video is shown to comply with the officer's demands and kept his hand on the wheel contradicting information in a press release issued by the Buckeye Police Department (BPD). The BPD press release says, that according to the involved officer, Sánchez was uncooperative and not complying with the officer's demands. Sánchez did open the window when asked to do so and did get out of the vehicle when asked too by a second officer.
The press release says, that Sánchez was stopped for a traffic violation. But according to the selfie video, he was following the speed limit law for at least 20 minutes before he was stopped. Sánchez had noticed an officer following him and decided to turn on his cellphone video camera to record the incident. The officer never mentioned why he stopped Sánchez during the video recording. The video camera on his cell was turned off when he exited the vehicle and after he was told by an officer to put the phone down. He was later released after no weapons were found and he wasn't wanted.
According to Sánchez,  he is undocumented and has lived in the U.S. for 10 years and has two U.S. born children ages 5 and 10. He is facing deportation proceedings. Sánchez claims that the officer was aggressive and pointed a gun at him.
According to the full video recording version, the Buckeye police officer involved must have not been truthful about the incident with Sánchez when questioned by his department's internal affairs investigators.
Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) noticed the short version video posted on Erika Andiola Arreola's Facebook account where she uploaded it on YouTube. HNNUSA contacted Buckeye Police Chief Larry Hall on late Sunday via e-mail and on Monday, Chief Hall stated, "I was just made aware of this video and we are currently conducting an inquiry as to who was involved. At this time the BPD PIO Team is formulating a response to this incident."

The Buckeye Police Department has stated, that "the officer used a poor choice of words, and does not condone the statement made during the stop."

Here's the English translation based on the video recording incident on October 10.

Officer: "Do you have a license?"

Driver: "Yes sir."

Officer: "Show me your license,  if you move, I will kill you. Do you understand me?"

Driver: "Yes, I'm recording you."

Officer: "Don't move, put your hands up here. Do you have any weapons in the car? Are you sure? Is there one in the car?"

Driver: "No, if you want I can get down?"

Officer: "What do you have here?"

Driver: "I'm coming from work and those are my tools."

Officer: "Just tools, are you sure?"

Driver: "I'm sure."

Officer: "Ok, don't get down, stay there. If you move, I will shoot you. Do you understand?"

Here's part of the Buckeye Police Department's press release where it states that Sánchez was "uncooperative" and "making making furtive movements."

"...As the officer approached the gold Honda, he repeatedly asked the driver to lower the car windows and turn off the ignition. The driver, later identified as Teodulo Sanchez, did not comply with the officer's requests. The officer, who is bi-lingual gave commands in Spanish and English as the driver was not complying. Mr. Sanchez continued making furtive movements in the vehicle before the officer approached the passenger side window. With the information that the driver may be armed, and the fact that he was not obeying the officer's commands, this heightened the officer's concern for safety.

"Mr. Sanchez eventually rolled down the passenger door window.  As the officer approached, he asked Mr. Sanchez to shut off the vehicle and place his hands on the steering wheel. While the officer was speaking with Mr. Sanchez, he continued to move his hands about and at one point, put his left hand out of the officer's view. He then moved to the center console which prompted a warning from the officer. The officer never pointed his weapon at the driver.

"After the backup officers arrived, Mr. Sanchez was asked to exit the vehicle and complied. He was seated on the curb beside the vehicle and asked the officer for an explanation, the officer explained to Mr. Sanchez the reasons for his actions to which Mr. Sanchez advised he understood.  Officers asked Mr. Sanchez if they could search his vehicle and he advised they could, with no illegal narcotics or weapons were located. Mr. Sanchez was then released from the stop..."

On Wednesday, when HNNUSA contacted the BPD about the newly released full version of the Sánchez video posted on the Internet, Sergeant Jason Weeks, the BPD Public Information Officer stated, "At this time will not be commenting further about this. We are conducting our administrative review and will make it available to the media once it is complete. However, Mr. Sanchez still has not provided the full un edited video to the Buckeye Police Department."
