Rapper Vanilla ICE Charged With Burglary And Grand Theft In Florida

Rapper allegedly stole furniture and other items from a foreclosed vacant home in Florida.

Lantana, Florida - On Wednesday, Robert Matthew Van Winkle, 47, aka, Vanilla Ice was taken into custody after police discovered stolen furniture, a pool heater and other items from a foreclosed vacant home were found at a property Van Winkle was using for a reality show, according to police.
He was booked at the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office for two felony counts, grand theft and burglary charges. Bond for Van Winkle was set at $3,000.
Police say, Van Winkle was renovating a home for the DIY Network show "The Vanilla Ice Project" near the vacant home when the items were taken between December 2014 to January 2015.
