Has Newsweek magazine cover headline crossed the line by now claiming President Obama as gay?

U.S.A. - On May 21, Newsweek magazine will release their controversial edition portraying President Barack H. Obama as "The First Gay President." The Newsweek front cover depicts Obama looking upward and a rainbow halo saint type of ring on top of his head.
The magazine headline claim might have crossed the line by what some critics are claiming as a poor choice of words that the editors decided to choose on its front cover headline. Obama has not openly admitted of actually being gay, but has confirmed that he supports same sex marriage. He became the first president to support gays and lesbians right to choose who they want to marry and willing to spend their lives with.
The Newsweek cover is attributed to an article by Andrew Sullivan, a conservative gay writer. Sullivan writes about his perspective about Obama's decision to publicly support same sex marriages.
Last week Obama admitted, that after talking to friends, his wife and family about gay men and lesbians being able to legally get married. Obama decided that he would "support same sex marriages."
Gay men and lesbians as individuals have constitutional rights, but when they desire to get married, they are discriminated and banned from getting married in most states.
Some state have approved legal domestic partnerships and same sex marriages.
