Milwaukee - Rosalin M. Rodriguez, 26, of Milwaukee is facing several misdemeanor charges for driving under the influence in connection with last month's crash into the War Memorial Center. Rodriguez blood-alcohol concentration tested 0.22 nearly three times of the 0.08 illegal concentration of being considered under the influence of alcohol in Wisconsin.
Court records indicate that its the third time she has been charged with DUI. Rodriguez has two DUI prior convictions.
If convicted, Rodriguez is facing up to one year in jail and $2,000 in fines. She is also facing a civil lawsuit from the War Memorial Center or a court order restitution.
An estimated $300,000 in damage to the War Memorial was caused when Rodriguez lost control of her vehicle last April and plowed into the front plate glass of the War Memorial Center. Her vehicle ended up wedged in the middle of the stairs, according to the criminal complaint.
