St. Louis, Missouri - Last week, the Traditionalist American Knights of the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) began to distribute and circulate flyers vowing to use lethal force against any violent protester breaking the law after the grand jury discloses their decision whether to charge a Ferguson cop, Darren Wilson for killing an unarmed teenager, Michael Brown, 18, on August 9. The KKK have self-proclaimed that they are a neighborhood watch operation to protect "All the good people of St. Louis County of all race, color and creeds..." and warned would-be protesters that they will use lethal violence against anyone engage in hurting any police officer, citizen or destroy property citing state law.
The KKK flyer called the protesters seeking justice for Brown "terrorists." The known racist KKK group is exploiting the racial tensions in Ferguson to recruit other racists. Some protesters have alleged that Officer Wilson and other members of the Ferguson Police Department (FPD) might be associated with the local KKK. But no evidence has been revealed to indicate some members of the FPD and Wilson are members or affiliated with the local KKK.
The FPD has indicated that it's ready to reinstate Wilson who is on administrative paid leave pending the outcome of the grand jury decision whether to charge Wilson for Brown's homicide or find that Wilson was justified in killing Brown. Brown was fatally shot at least 6 times, including twice in the head.
