Guadalajara, Jalisco, México - Mexican federal authorities have notified U.S. and INTERPOL authorities to be on the look out for Luis Enrique Ruiz Ruvalaba who is wanted in the state of Jalisco for the homicide of Gabriela "Gaby" Jacqueline Ayala Villarruel, 18. Ruvalaba apparently shot Villarruel multiple times on July 13 after she refused to be his girlfriend.
Her mother told the local media that Ruvalaba was stalking get her and that she wasn't retuning his text messages. She only wanted Ruvalaba as a friend, but Ruvalaba wouldn't take no for an answer, according to Lucia Villaruel.
The suspect and the victim worked at the Chop Copa Café in Guadalajara.
Mexican authorities traced Ruvalaba's cellphone to Tijuana, Baja California and then lost contact about a week ago. That's when Ruvalaba is believed to have illegally crossed into the U.S. to avoid prosecution in Mexico.
