David Ray Conley Held Without Bond For 8 Homicides In Houston

48-year-old suspect accused to shooting two adults and and 6 children in the head over a domestic violence dispute over a prior relationship with woman.

Houston, Texas - The Harris County District Attorney's Office has charged David Ray Conley III, 48, with three felony counts of capital murder that include multiple homicides and murder under the age of 6 for Saturday's homicides of Valerie Jackson, 40, and Dwayne Clifford Jackson Sr., 50, and six children including Conley's 13-year-old son with Valerie. Police discovered the bodies after Conley surrendered to police after a two-hour stand-off at the residence where the homicides happened.
According to the criminal complaint, Conley broke into his former residence where he lived with his former live-in girlfriend. He handcuffed Valerie, Jackson Sr. and the 6 children before killing them. The Harris County Coroner confirmed that all the victims die from a gunshot wound to the head at the scene.
Jackson Sr. had been married to Valerie since 2003 and is originally from Chicago.
Valerie had a prior relationship with Conley and a history of domestic violence. They had a son together, Nataniel, 13.
The other Jackson family victims were identified as, Honesty, 11, Dwayne Jr., 10, Caleb, 9, Jonah Curtis, 6, and Trinity, 7. 
Conley is being held without bond and if convicted on all counts, Conley could face life in prison or the death penalty.
Conley is expected to make a court appearance on Monday.
