Milwaukee, WI - On Tuesday, Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) has learned that Potawatomi Hotel and Casino, 1721 W. Canal Street is trying to get rid of their bedbug problem at the Blackjack tables in the Casino area. Employees at the hotel and casino have been prohibited from talking about the bedbug infestation that has been going on for weeks.
The Blackjack section was apparently closed for one or two hours the other day and was later reopened, but the bedbug infestation was not resolved. The bedbug infestation could spread into the new recently opened hotel section, but Potawatomi executives, staff and employees are keeping the lid on the issue until HNNUSA learned of the bedbug problem.
Potawatomi has not warned the public visiting the casino area or hotel about the bedbug dilemma and people could be also taking bedbugs home instead of big winnings. Potawatomi Casino employees could also be taking home bedbugs as well.
The Potawatomi Hotel and Casino remains open while trying to eradicate the bedbug problem. But will eventually be a costly health issue to resolve at Potawatomi Casino, if the casino is temporarily shut down to remove the bedbug infestation. Has the City of Milwaukee Health Department been notified of the bedbug issue at Potawatomi Casino?, apparently not. Since, no Potawatomi Casino bedbug warning has been issued by the city.
Potawatomi Hotel and Casino is operated by the Forest County Potawatomi Community.
