13-year-old Racine Boy Facing 60 years In Prison For Stabbing 11-year-old Girl

Williams attacked 11-year-old girl with knife for messing with his girlfriend.

Racine, WI - On Thursday, Jamal S. Williams, 13, was charged as an adult for Monday's after school stabbing of an 11-year-old girl from Gilmore Middle School. He was charged with attempted first-degree homicide. A cash bond of $50,000 was set for Williams. If convicted, Williams is facing up to 60 years in prison. He is expected back in court on September 17 for a preliminary hearing.
Williams told police that he didn't know the victim or her friends. The criminal complaint states, that the victim and friends were walking home from school and Williams and another suspect approached the victim. He  told her why she was messing with his girlfriend. Williams then attacked the victim by punching her and stabbing her multiple times with a pocket knife. The victim received stab wounds to her arms and upper chest.
The victim called her mother from the crime scene after Williams had fled. Her mother took the girl to a local hospital for treatment where she received multiple stitches. The stabbing incident was reported to police.
