New Braunfels, Texas - On Tuesday, a photo taken by a neighbor who lives across from the late Tejano style singer Emilio H. Navaira III, 53, has gone viral on social media. The photo was taken of some members of the media standing across from the Navaira residence and the neighbor posted photos that included a closeup of the front door on Facebook claiming a black shadow of a cowboy appears standing on the front door.
Another neighbor who lives about a block away, Alex Stephenson got a copy of the photos and posted them on his Facebook account. Stephenson posted, "...Their neighbor across the street just posted this and I have goosebumps Ray Jones!!!!!!! He said nobody was at their door at the time, he was taking a picture of the media being out there but look at the front door!!!!!!! There's a dark shadow, even looks like he's wearing a cowboy hat!!!!! Tell me this isn't Emilio guarding his house and family....."
Many Navaira Tejano fans who have seen the photos are speculating it is the ghostly image of Navaira standing guard in front of his residence.
Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) has received copies of the images and posted them to allow the fans and the public to judge for themselves.
According to recent posting in social media, an unidentified media member might have been knocking at the door of the Navaira residence when a neighbor across the street took a photo and appeared like a shadowy figure at the doorway. It might not be what Facebook users and Navaira's fans had thought to be, Emilio himself standing at the doorway. But Jones confirmed, that no one was at the door when he took the photo.
Navaira was found on Monday unconscious and not breathing around 8:20 p.m. by family members, according to the New Braunfels Police Department. First responders attempted life saving measures, but were unsuccessful in resuscitating Navaira. Navaira was later pronounced deceased at the Resolute Health Hospital. Police in a preliminary investigation indicated that Navaira died from natural causes, but the Comal Medical Examiner's Office will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death. Apparently, Emilio suffered a massive heart attack, according to family and friends.

Editor's note: Apparently Alex Stephenson has removed the Facebook post about Emilio H. Navaira III alleged ghostly image due to accusations that it was just a hoax and were victimizing the Navaira family. The person knocking at the door is believed to be a friend of the Navaira family who was later interviewed by media. Others have alleged that a person deliberately walked to the front door of the Navaira residence for the photo taken by Ray Jones.
Both Stephenson and Ray Jones have not disputed the hoax allegations against them.
