Joseph defeated Sánchez on Tuesday's MPS board race.

Milwaukee, WI - On Tuesday, Tatiana Joseph defeated Angel Sánchez in the 6th Milwaukee School Board District election race. With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, Joseph won with 938 votes, 62% and Sánchez lost with 564 votes, 38%.
Joseph is a former teacher and recently graduated from UW-Milwaukee. She has a Doctorate and a Master's degree from UW-Milwaukee. Joseph is also an active member of the Southside Organizing Committee.
Sánchez is a former alderman for 12th District and owns his own construction company.
In another race, Pat Roggensack, 72, defeated Ed Fallone, 48, in the state Supreme Court race. Roggensack won a second term.
