Potawatomi Bingo Casino Held Up At Gun Point

Suspect fled without money bag and shot at Potawatomi guard.

Milwaukee - On Monday, Milwaukee police continue to investigate an apparent attempted armed robbery at the Potawatomi Bingo and Casino. A man tried to hold up a cashier around 3:00 a.m. with a handgun. The cashier refused to give him any money. The suspect grabbed a money bag and headed out of the casino, according to Potawatomi officials.
When confronted by a guard, the suspect then fired some shots at the Potawatomi guard, but was not injured. The suspect dropped the money bag while fleeing the scene, according to a police preliminary report.
Police are looking for the suspect and a black SUV Explorer believed to be heading South of the city.
