Milwaukee (HNNUSA) - A man took out his red Kawasaki motorcycle out for a ride early Wednesday and got into an accident in an adjacent alley. The motorcycle accident occurred at about 8:05 a.m. in the 800 block of S. 30th, at the entrance of the West bound alley just North of W. National Ave.
The impact of the motorcycle accident woke neighbors in the area.
The driver who was not wearing a helmet, told Milwaukee Fire Department paramedics that the right hand accelerator got stuck, he lost control and hit a side barrier of a duplex. The driver flew over the barrier and landed in a high slope beneath the first level of the duplex.
The motorcycle driver was taken to a nearby hospital due to injuries. Another man, apparently removed the crossrocket (Kawasaki sports bike) from the scene before police arrived, to avoid being towed . While taking the bike to the driver's residence, the man lost balance of the motorcycle and dropped the bike. He injured several fingers on his left hand and complained of injuries to his abdomen. He was also taken to the hospital.
Police were able to locate the damaged motorcycle about half a block away, according to a witness.
