Milwaukee - On Wednesday, a driver lost control of the vehicle at the intersection of W. Greenfield Ave. and S. Cesar E. Chavez Dr. and crashed into a light pole. Shortly after 5:00 p.m., the driver was headed North on Chavez Dr., but unable to manuever lost control and ended up on the right turn lane divider (island).
No major injuries were reported, but the airbag on the driver's side inflated by the impact.
The male driver remained at the scene and was taken into custody about 6:01 p.m. by Milwaukee police. The vehicle had an out of state license plate from Minnesota.
