Milwaukee, Wisconsin - The Wisconsin Election Commission confirmed that candidate Angel Sánchez, (R-Milw.) running in the Wisconsin State Senate District 3 is on the ballot for the Partison Primary dated August 9, 2022. Sánchez is challenging incumbent Tim Carpenter (D-Milw) who is the current state senator.
Sánchez in his Facebook account confirmed that he is a candidate for State Senator and will be on the ballot.
The Wisconsin State Senate District 3 is a predominantly Democrat voting district.
Carpenter is member and an advocate for the LGBTQ community in Milwaukee.
Sánchez is a known Donald Trump, U.S. Senator Ron Johnson (R) and U.S. Congressman Ted Cruz (R) supporter.
