24-year-old Ninoshka Lozada Fatally Shot In West Allis, Suspect Arrested

Lozada was fatally shot multiple times in the backyard of her home.

West Allis, Wisconsin - On Monday, West Allis Police responded to shots fired at the 1300 block of S. 72 Street in West Allis around 12:30p.m., upon arrival they found Ninoshka Maestre Lozada, 24, had been shot multiple times in her backyard. Police say the West Allis Fire Department personnel provided medical attention to Lozada, but she tragically died at the scene.

Lozada is survived by four children, which two of her children were at home when Lozada was fatally shot.

Manuel Cruz, 25, was taken into custody by SWAT at a local hotel on Tuesday morning. According to preliminary information, Cruz is the father of Lozada's three children. A homicide charge in pending against Cruz.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office says, an autopsy for Lozada is scheduled for Tuesday.
