USICE Takes Custody Of 47-year-old Mario Alexander Guevara, Owner Of MG News After Criminally Charged In DeKalb County, Georgia

Guevara has a work immigration authorization permit, but does not have legal immigration status to remain in the U.S., he is now facing possible deportation to El Salvador after being criminally charged with several misdemeanors in DeKalb County.

DeKalb County, Georgia - On Wednesday, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (USICE) took Mario Alexander Guevara, 47, into custody after being criminally charged with several misdemeanors in DeKalb County.

Last Saturday, Guevara, originally from El Salvador and the owner of MG News in the Atlanta area was taken into custody by Doraville police on June 14, 2025, along with 8 other individuals at a No Kings Day protest. Guevara was charged with pedestrian improperly entering roadway, and two misdemeanor counts for obstruction of law enforcement officers and unlawful assembly, according to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office. If convicted, Guevara is facing cash forfeiture for pedestrian improperly entering roadway, and facing up to 12 months in jail for obstruction of law enforcement officers, and up to 12 months in jail for unlawful assembly.

Guevara's bond was set as a signature bond and was scheduled to be released, but USICE placed a hold detainer for Guevara, which remained in custody.

Guevara apparently had apply for U.S. permanent resident with immigration services through his son who is a U.S. citizen. 

According to USICE, Guevara overstayed his visa, and in 2012, an immigration judge ordered Guevara to self-deport, which Guevara continued his attempt to remain in the U.S..

Guevara could now face a possible revocation of his pending application for U.S. permanent residence, if convicted of the current misdemeanor charges and could be deported to El Salvador, according to USICE.

Guevara's criminal defense attorney, Zachary Gacta of Diaz & Gaeta, issued the following statement, "We are aware that Mr. Guevara has been transported into ICE custody. The attorneys Diaz & Gaeta are actively preparing an immigration court bond motion on his behalf and seeking a court date as soon as possible. We have also spoken to prosecutors at DeKalb County Solicitor General's Office requesting that the state court charges be dismissed immediately. We are not giving up until Mr. Guevara is released."

Update: USDHS on June 20, 2025 released the following statement on their X account (formerly Twitter),  FALSE. Accusations that Mario Guevara was arrested by ICE because he is a journalist are completely untrue.

Mario Guevera was arrested by Dekalb County, Georgia police for willful obstruction after he refused to comply with local police orders to move out of the middle of the street. Following his arrest by local authorities, ICE placed a detainer on him. Following his release, he was turned over to ICE custody and has been placed in removal proceedings.

This El Salvador national is in ICE custody because he entered the country illegally in 2004.

Also a warrant has been issued on June 17, 2025 in Gwinnett County in connection with Mario Alexander Guevara committing multiple traffic violations on May 20. Guevara is facing charges in Gwinnett County for following law enforcement vehicles through Norcross neighborhoods. An arrest warrant was issued for Guevara in Gwinnett County for the following charges, reckless driving, distractive driving, failure of obey a traffic control device, while the unlawful use of a telecommunications device while driving.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Tuesday, Yessenia E. Ruano, 38, originally from El Salvador and a undocumented Milwaukee Public Schools teacher's aide self-deported with her two daughters to El Salvador from the Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport after losing her immigration appeal to stay in the country with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). 

Ruano has had a deportation order since, the Biden administration, but had applied for a T-visa and had spent nearly $14,000 in the immigration process. A T-visa is issued to victims of severe human trafficking.

In February 2025, Ruano was allowed additional time to apply for a T-visa.

Ruano has two 9-year-old daughters born in the U.S..

Ruano crossed the U.S. border in 2011 when she was 24 and lived in Jackson, Wisconsin before moving to Milwaukee in 2013.

Minneapolis, Minnesota - On Monday, Vance Luther Boelter, 57, a known right wing MAGA (Make Amerikkka Great Again) extremist who voted for Trump faced 4 criminal counts in Hennepin County for 2nd-degree murder in connection with the June 14, 2025 shooting deaths of Minnesota State Representative Melissa Hortman (D) and her husband Mark at their Brooklyn Park home, and then critically shot both Minnesota State Senator John Hoffman (D) and his wife Yvette at their Champlin home. Both Hoffman and his wife are expected to survive, according to police.

If convicted on all state felony counts, Boelter is facing up to 40 years in prison for each count, totalling up 160 years in prison.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D) claimed the multiple shootings and the two murders by Boelter were "politically motivated."

Boelter was taken into custody around 9:15 p.m. on Sunday, June 15, 2025, near his Green Isle home in Sibley County in Minnesota. He surrendered to a SWAT tactical officer in a field, according to police.

Also on Monday, the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Public Affairs in a press release says, that Boelter has been charged by federal complaint with stalking and murdering Minnesota House of Representatives Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman and her husband, in addition to stalking and shooting Minnesota State Senator John Hoffman and his wife.

According to federal court documents, in the early morning hours of June 14, 2025, Vance Luther Boelter put into effect a calculated plan to inflict fear and violence upon Minnesota elected officials and their families. Boelter equipped himself with firearms and body armor, disguised himself as a law enforcement officer, and drove to the home of Senator Hoffman. Boelter knocked on the door repeatedly, claiming to be a police officer. Shortly after the Hoffmans opened the door, they were alarmed to realize Boelter was wearing a facemask. The Hoffmans tried to close the door on Boelter, but Boelter repeatedly shot both Senator and Mrs. Hoffman.

The feds, state and local authorities found a hit list of other Democrat targeted victims including Minnesota Governor Walz in Boelter's vehicle.

"This was a horrific act of targeted violence," said Special Agent in Charge Alvin M. Winston Sr. of the FBI Minneapolis Field Office. "A gunman, impersonating a police officer, deliberately lured public servants to their own doorstep and opened fire. A Minnesota lawmaker and her spouse were murdered in cold blood, and others wounded, simply for serving as elected officials. This is not only unacceptable — it is an attack on the democratic values that define this nation. This marked the largest manhunt in Minnesota's history, and it would not have been possible without the extraordinary partnership between federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies. The tireless coordination and commitment ensured Boelter was located and taken into custody without further incident. The FBI remains steadfast in our pursuit of justice. Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, and the communities they served."

A two-day manhunt, coordinated among federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies across the state, ensued. As a result of those efforts, at approximately 9:15 on the evening of June 15, law enforcement located Boelter in a field in Green Isle, Minnesota, approximately one mile from his family residence. Law enforcement officers then took Boelter into custody.

Boelter will make his initial appearance in U.S. District Court on Monday, June 16, 2025, before Magistrate Judge John F. Docherty.

St. Paul, Minnesota - On Sunday, MAGA Vance Luther Boelter, 57, a White suspect who was sought in connection with a double homicide case by police and feds in Minnesota has been taken into custody, according to the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office in the Twin Cities.

The Ramsey County Sheriff's Office social media (Facebook) post announcement of Boelter's arrest read, "The face of evil. After relentless and determined police work, the killer is now in custody. Thanks to the dedication of multiple agencies working together along with support from the community, justice is one step closer."

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Friday, the three-day Mexican Fiesta organizers posted a press release on their Facebook page saying that they "stand united with community and condemned all forms of violence and provocation against our mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, and families. No one should live in fear for simply existing, working, or belonging. Mexican Fiesta exists because we believe in our people. We believe that education is not just a path to success; it is the power to defend our rights, tell our stories and build the future we deserve. We are strong as a community, and we advocate for dignity, justice and equity for all individuals."

Mexican Fiesta is sponsored by the Wisconsin Hispanic Scholarship Foundation, Inc (WHSF).

Mexican Fiesta didn't directly mention that their press release was based on the current crisis the immigrant community in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and other immigrant communities around the nation are facing especially, Los Angeles (LA), California under the MAGA (Make Amerikkka Great Again) TACO (Trump Always Chickens Out) Trump administration. 

In brief, Trump, the 34-count convicted felon has signed multiple executive orders since taking office, which have been deemed unconstitutional by federal judges across the nation, including the deployment of the national guard and Marines in LA to enforce immigration enforcement and assist USICE with mass arrests of undocumented essential workers, which has ignited unrest, civil disobedience and protests due to USICE continued illegal acts.

Juneau, Wisconsin - On Thursday, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (USICE) released Ramon Morales-Reyes, 54, from the Dodge County Detention Facility (jail) in Juneau, according to USICE.

Morales-Reyes was framed by Demetric D. Scott, 52, who confessed to Milwaukee police that he wrote a letter threatening to shoot TACO Trump in the head with a 30-06 rifle, and signed Morales-Reyes name on it so, he could get arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and get deported. Scott believed he could then have his criminal case dismissed against him. The victim in that case was Morales-Reyes who was assaulted and robbed by Scott in Milwaukee.

Racine, Wisconsin - On Tuesday, Kyle William Beckett, the president and founder of the Back the Badge Wisconsin (BBW) Facebook page announced that discussions are taking place to create an alleged volunteer initiative program to assist the corrupt U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (USICE) in Immigration enforcement.

According to Beckett, if the MAGA volunteer initiative moves forward, the BBW will help recruit qualified, vetted volunteers to assist USICE in immigration enforcement and national security.

The BBW under Beckett, which has a large following of mostly White MAGA alleged racist cops, is well known to be a Southeastern Wisconsin MAGA supremacist propaganda page and viewed as anti-immigrant by its racist ranks against people of color in its social media page in Wisconsin.

The 18-year-old female victim was hospitalized after being allegedly assaulted by a 19-year-old female who later posted a video of the assault on Instagram.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Tuesday, Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) learned that a 18-year-old female that had left Sunday's impromptu National Puerto Rican Day 2025 chaotic gathering at the 1400 block of W. Burnham Street, was later physically assaulted (battery) at the 3200 block of W. Burnham by a 19-year-old female identified as Keelyn Ard, according to the victim. The 18-year-old victim says, that she was followed by Ard who then brutally assaulted her and causing her injuries to her head that needed medical treatment. The victim was being sought by friends and family after she didn't return home on Sunday. It was later reported on social media that she was hospitalized and receiving treatment for her injuries.

Ard apparently posted a video of her assaulting the victim on Instagram. The video showing the assault was also shared in Facebook.

Ard is now being sought by Milwaukee police and criminal felony charges are pending.

According to Milwaukee County court records, a temporary restraining order for harrasment was filed against Ard on Tuesday.

The victim had just graduated from Puente High School in Milwaukee and was admitted to the Milwaukee Area Technical College nursing program.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Sunday, Milwaukee police had to block off with barriers the neighborhood streets of S. 14 to S. 15 Streets between W. Forest Home Ave. and W. Burnham Street in the Southside of Milwaukee in order to neutralize the chaotic annual impromptu cruising, tire burnouts and Puerto Rican flag waving celebration during the National Puerto Rican Day 2025 in the predominately Latino neighborhood.

No major incidents were reported this year during the chaotic street takeover by vehicles, spectators and unruly crowds on Sunday, according to police.

The Milwaukee Common Council in early June introduced a proposed ordinance prohibiting street takeovers by crowds, spectators and vehicles, but police have yet to report, if anyone was cited, towed or taken into custody on Sunday for reckless driving in the Southside.

Will the City Street Takeover ordinance, if approved be enforced by police at illegal street takeovers by Whites during sports spillover events and other chaotic celebrations as well or only at people of color neighborhoods?

The City Street Takeover ordinance imposes a minimum of $500 fine for each spectator(s).

The National Puerto Rican Day Fest 2025 was held separately at Mitchell Park on Sunday, June 8th, and ended at 7:00p.m. and organizers reported no incidents other than several motor dirt bikes that were confiscated by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources officers at the Mitchell Park, according to Victor Huyke, from El Conquistador Newspaper, the sponsor of the National PR Day Fest 2025 and Parade at Mitchell Park.

Milwaukee,  Wisconsin - On early Thursday, Milwaukee police responded around 1:30a.m. to a non-fatal shooting at the 1900 block of S. 21 Street and located a 53-year-old male victim with minor injuries and refuse medical treatment.

Police have an ongoing investigation to determine what occurred and are looking for an unknown suspect(s).

On Wednesday, June 4, 2025, around 9:30 p.m., Milwaukee police responded to shots fired at the 1600 block of S. 11 Street in the Southside of Milwaukee and located a deceased 45-year-old Hispanic male.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office declared the victim, Vincent Torres, 45, originally from Dallas,  Texas deceased at 9:51 p.m. in Milwaukee. Torres was fatally shot in the chest.

The Torres family released a video surveillance camera footage of the alleged homicide suspect.

Milwaukee police have an ongoing homicide investigation in the Torres shooting death.

No arrest has been reported by police in the Torres homicide.

24-year-old Brandon J. Randall Sentenced To 50 Years In Prison For The 2022 Reckless Homicides Of Both Ava Allen, 17, And Jaelen Yracheta, 18, In South Milwaukee

Randall in a plea agreement was sentenced to 50 years in prison for each of the reckless homicides of Allen and Yracheta in December 2022 in South Milwaukee.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Tuesday, Brandon J. Randall, 24, was sentenced to 50 years in prison to be served concurrently to the double reckless homicides of Ava Allen, 17, and Jaelen Yracheta, 18, on December 29, 2022 in South Milwaukee.

In the plea agreement, Randall will serve 50 years concurrently to the reckless homicides of Allen and Yracheta, he received 50 years in prison for the murder of Allen and 50 years in prison for the murder of Yracheta, but will be served at the same time. Randall will actually serve 36 years in prison and 14 years of supervision, according to Milwaukee County court records.

In December 2022, Randall killed both Allen and Yracheta in a marijuana drug deal gone bad. Apparently, Yracheta had made arrangements with Randall to sell him marijuana, and Allen accompanied Yracheta to the drug sale. Randall fatally shot both Yracheta and Allen multiple times. 238 Venezuelans Illegally Removed From The U.S. Without Due Process By The TACO Trump Administration Remain At Notorious Prison In El Salvador

CBS News reported in March that it had obtained an internal government list of the names of the Venezuelan men the Trump administration deported to El Salvador as part of a secretive operation last week that has triggered a legal standoff in the U.S. and a debate around the world.

On March 15, the U.S. government deported 238 male Venezuelan citizens on three flights to El Salvador, accusing them of being part of a transnational gang known as Tren de Aragua, which President Trump has labeled a foreign terrorist group and wartime enemy.

Upon landing, the deported men were forcefully led off planes by heavily armed Salvadoran authorities. They were marched into armored vehicles, had their heads shaved and were transferred into cells inside El Salvador's notorious maximum security prison, known as CECOT (Centro de Confinamiento del Terrorismo (Terrorist Confinement Center)).

The high-profile deportations quickly set off a legal battle in the U.S. The court fight initially centered on the legality of Trump's move to invoke the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to expel many of the Venezuelan deportees. It has since expanded into a showdown over whether the Trump administration knowingly defied a federal judge's order to halt deportations under the wartime law and turn the flights around.

U.S. officials have said 137 of the Venezuelan men were treated as "enemy aliens" and removed from the country under the 18th century law. The other 101 were deported under regular immigration procedures, the officials have said. 

Beyond that, the U.S. government has provided scant details about the deportations. Family members and lawyers of deportees have said they only learned their loved ones or clients had been deported to the small Central American country through videos and photos posted by the Salvadoran government and news outlets. 

The Trump administration has said it verified that all the Venezuelan deportees have connections to Tren de Aragua, but those accusations have been denied by relatives of some of those who were deported. The U.S. government has said in a court declaration that while some of those expelled have criminal histories in the U.S., "many" do not.

CBS News published the U.S. government's list of the names of the 238 Venezuelan deportees sent to El Salvador below. How long they will remain imprisoned in El Salvador and whether their family members and lawyers will be allowed to communicate with them remain open questions.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Monday, Demetric D. Scott, 52, was criminally charged with 4 additional felonies for writing a handwritten letter threatening to shoot TACO Trump with a 30-06 rifle and then framing Ramon Morales-Reyes, 54, as the person who actually wrote it in mid May, in order to have Morales-Reyes, an undocumented individual arrested by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security-Immigration and Customs Enforcement (USDHI-ICE) and deported to avoid a criminal trial, which Morales-Reyes was the victim and Scott was the defendant. 

Morales-Reyes had also applied for a U-visa as a victim of a crime. He remains in federal USDHS-ICE custody at the Dodge County Detention Center in Juneau, Wisconsin pending deportation proceedings.

The feds later learned that Morales-Reyes was illiterate and could not write English or Spanish, and that his handwriting didn't match the handwriting on the letter sent to USDHS-ICE threatening the life of TACO (Trump Always Chickens Out) Trump.

According to Scott's criminal complaint filed on Monday in Milwaukee County, he also send a copy of the letter to the State Attorney General's office in Wisconsin, the Milwaukee Police Department and the USDHS-ICE.

Scott was charged on Monday with misappropriate ID to harm reputation, 2 felony counts for bail jumping, and intimidate a witness. If convicted, Scott is facing 6 years in prison and $10,000 in fines, or both for each count for misappropriate ID, and 2 counts for bail jumping, and facing up to 10 years in prison and up to $25,000 in fines, or both for intimidate a witness.

Scott framed Morales-Reyes to get him deported so, the criminal case against him for assaulting Morales-Reyes and robbing him would be dismissed.

On September 28, 2023, Scott was criminally charged for felony armed robbery with use of force, bail jumping, aggravated battery intent harm with use of a dangerous weapon, 2nd-degree recklessly endangering safety with use of a dangerous weapon in connection with Morales-Reyes assault and robbery.

If convicted, Scott is facing up to 40 years in prison and up to $100,000 in fines, or both for armed robbery, and facing up to 6 years in prison and up to $10,000 in fines, or both for each bail jumping, and aggravated battery, and facing up to 10 years in prison and up to $25,000 in fines, or both for 2nd-degree recklessly endangering safety.

Scott has a scheduled initial court hearing for Tuesday, June 3, 2025, according to court records.

So far, the USDHS-ICE has not come out publicly to vindicate Morales-Reyes regarding their false claim that he had threatened to kill TACO Trump.

Editor's note: USDHS-ICE is known as the most corrupt immigration enforcement departments in the federal government under the TACO Trump administration, which have failed to abide by U.S. Constitutional law, which affords due process for those with legal status and undocumented individuals detained (arrested) by USDHS-ICE and its federal partners, FBI, U.S. Marshals Service, DEA, ATF and etc. before being removed from the U.S.. Federal judges have ruled that USDHS-ICE has continuously detained individuals and have intentionally failed to abide by the rule of law, and have a disregard to the U.S. Constitution.

Also, the USDHS-ICE has falsely claimed that most undocumented and legal status individuals detained are notorious gang members from Tren de Aragua or MS-13 transnational criminal organizations without proof. Many of those mentioned have been found not to have criminal records contrary of what USDHS-ICE claims.

The vast majority of immigration agents cannot be regular cops because they either have criminal backgrounds, mental health problems (no psychological exams given prior to hiring) and /or have extremely low self esteem, according  to Jenn Budd, a former U.S. immigration agent.
