Peruvian annual picnic set for July 23 in Greendale.

Milwaukee - On Saturday, members of the Peru Club and Peruvian community held a Pollada to raise funds for their annual picnic. Charcoal cooked and fried chicken with salad and potatoes with green sauce was the main dish on the menu. The Peruvian Pollada was held at the St. Hyacinth Church parking lot in the 1400 block of W. Becher St. in the predominately Hispanic South side community.
The Peruvian Annual Picnic is scheduled for July 23 at the Root River Parkway on S. 76th Street and Grange Ave. in Greendale, according to Fredy P. Canales from the Peru Club.
