Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Monday, Manuel "Manny" Perez, the former Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) under the former Republican Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker administration confirmed when contacted by Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) that he had reported a fake Facebook (FB) profile (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100065371914064) account that was using his personal profile photo and name "Manny Perez". The fake FB account was immediately removed after Perez received information that an unknown person had sent out unauthorized friend requests and a FB friend of Perez contacted him personally to confirm that Perez himself indeed was the person who sent a friend request. Perez admitted that he didn't sent any FB friend requests with a new account, which actually had only had one friend indicating that it was recently created.
Perez after learning that his personal FB profile photo and name was stolen by an unknown FB user, he reported it immediately to the FB administration police and the fake Manny Perez profile account was removed.
The FB administration does keep the email used and IP information of any person creating FB accounts.
