Milwaukee, WI - On Monday, police responded to a call that a man had been stabbed during an argument at a local Southside bar. When police arrived just after 1:45 a.m. at the Club 6 Street bar at the 2100 block of S. 6th St., they found a 45-year-old man who was stabbed during an altercation.
Lieutenant Mark Stanmeyer, the Public and Media Relations Supervisor stated, "A 45-year-old Milwaukee man was stabbed by an unknown suspect. The victim was conveyed to a local hospital for treatment of what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries. Milwaukee Police continue to search for the suspect."
Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) learned that David Lava, 45, was stabbed in the chest and had one of his lungs punctured during the knife stabbing at the bar. Lava is also a diabetic and the stab wound complicated his medical treatment and early release from the hospital. He is expected to remain at the hospital until he gets stabilized, according friends.
