Mikwaukee, WI - On Tuesday, U.S. District Rudolph Randa in a 26-page decision ruled that defendents involved in the John Doe investigation into campaign spending and fund raising, including the re-elect Governor Scott Walker (R) campaign staff and volunteers to stop cooperating with authorities. A probe was launched to investigate alleged inappropriate fund raising tactics and campaign contributions generated during the Walker recall election.
Judge Randa also ordered authorities to stop their five county probe and to return all materials, computers to the defendant's and to destroy all copies related to the case. Randa believed the GOP involved in re-election of Governor Scott Walker was being harassed.
The special prosecutor in the John Doe investigation, Francis Schmitz told media outlets that he is planning to appeal Judge Randa's decision with the federal 7th Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago, once his lawyer and authorities involved agree to file an appeal.
