Milwaukee - On Tuesday, the Wisconsin State Patrol will takeover all freeway patrol duties for the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department so their personnel can attend Deputy Sergio Aleman's funeral. The state troopers will begin their freeway patrolling from 6:00 a.m. Tuesday to 6:00 a.m. Wednesday.
Milwaukee County court duties for deputies could be suspended for some, if a judge authorizes it and shuts down his court.
Deputy Aleman was killed last Tuesday during duty when he lost control of his service truck that provided aid to stranded motorists. He rear-ended a tow flatbed truck and later died due to his injuries.
