Milwaukee, WI - On Friday, a Wal-Mart security officer confirmed that police contacted the Southside store managers that they received intelligence that a suspected Black gang (flash mob) had threaten to raise havoc in the area of the 3300 block of S. Layton Blvd. (S. 27th). Wal-Mart officials brought in more security officers and Milwaukee police units in squads and motorcycle units began stopping mostly Black drivers coming into the area.
Police began there operation late afternoon and continued through the day.
Some suggested police are profiling just Blacks, but others going into Wal-Mart say, police are just trying to keep havoc from taking place and are just keeping the public safe.
