Wausau, Wisconsin - The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement - Enforcement and Removal Operations (USICE-ERO) reported that Rigoberto Ramon-Bailon, 30, a Mexican national had been taken into custody on July 1, 2025 by federal immigration and FBI pending removal from the U.S..
On May 24, 2019, Ramon-Bailon was sentenced in Marathon County to 2 years probation after he pled no contest to one misdemeanor count for sexual intercourse with a child 16 or over. In addition, he pled no contest to two misdemeanor counts for disorderly conduct and was sentenced to 2 years probation for each count to be served concurrently (same time) with the sexual intercourse with child count under a plea agreement.
In October 22, 2024, Ramon-Bailon was criminally charged in Marathon County with two felony counts of 2nd-degree sexual assault of a child. The felony criminal case against Ramon-Bailon is still open.
On March 31, 2025, Ramon-Bailon was again criminally charged in Marathon County with one felony count of bail jumping and one misdemeanor count of operating a vehicle without a license. The criminal case against Ramon-Bailon is still open, according to Marathon County court records.
