2 Milwaukee Latino Couples Miraculously Survived After Crash At S. 24 And W. National Ave. In The Southside Of Milwaukee

Two vehicle crash at S. 24 Street and W. National Ave. injured two Latino couples, one in the White SUV van that overturned during impact and striking a couple from behind walking in the sidewalk. Witnesses at the crash say that it was certainly a miracle that the couple struck from behind while walking survived with non-life threatening injuries.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Saturday, July 20, 2O24, Milwaukee police and Milwaukee Fire Department first responders were called around 6:30 p.m. to the 2400 block of W. National Ave. where they located two crashed vehicles and for people injured.

The Southside popuplar Mr. Churro, Bakery and Panderia at 2333 W. National Ave., outdoor camera video surveillance captured what many spectators at the crash scene are calling a miracle that no fatalities were reported. Mr. Churro released the video of the crash to Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA), which shows how the two vehicle crash transpired.

The Mr. Churro's video shows the moment a black vehicle heading West on W. National made a left turn without stopping for the  oncoming White van heading East on W. National Ave.. The black vehicle struck the White van and the impact of the crash overturned it to the side as it slided forward striking a couple from Nicaragua from behind while walking East on the sidewalk.

The Hispanic couple, male and female in the While van, and the male and female couple from Nicaragua struck by the van were conveyed to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

A group of people having an outdoor party near the crash immediately rendered aid to the victims.

A man knows the couple from Nicaragua says, that all three were heading to a nearby store, but that he walked ahead of the couple, but immediately turned around when he heard the crash and saw the aftermath.

The Black driver of the Black vehicle fled the scene heading North on S. 24. immediately after the crash, according to a witness.

No damage was reported to the Mr. Churro Bakery and Panaderia building.

Police were able to also get a copy of the Mr. Churro's outdoor video of the crash and are looking for the driver.
