Pérez recently came forward to expose multiple failures by both Republicans, former Governor Walker and Lt. Kleefisch in Wisconsin while in their first term in office.

Waukesha. Wisconsin - On Tuesday morning, May 3, 2022, Manuel "Manny" Pérez, former 2011 Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) will be speaking live during an interview with radio talk host Earl Ingram Jr. from the Earl Ingram Jr. Radio Talk Show on 540AM WAUK from 10:00a.m. to 11a.m.
Pérez currently resides in Florida, but recently came out to expose that in the early months of the former Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker (R) and former Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch's (R) first term in office failed to fix the anticipated failing and outdated UI System. Pérez confirmed that Walker and Kleefisch were informed by their administration staff that Pérez had requested support from Walker and Kleefisch to help get federal funding from the U.S. Department of Labor and former U.S. President Barack H. Obama administration to provide federal funding to help upgrade the failing UI System. Both Walker and Kleefisch ignored Pérez' request to allow the feds to fund the UI System upgrade.

Currently, Kleefisch is a candidate for Governor in Wisconsin and she came out public blaming current Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers (D) for the failing and outdated Unemployment Insurance System (UI) for unemployed working Wisconsinites.
The Kleefisch for Governor campaign has denied that she knew anything about the failing and outdated UI System, but in a TV interview in 2011, Kleefisch admitted that she was aware of the failing and outdated UI that needed to be fix. Kleefisch nor her campaign has yet to release any information to explain how she knew about the major problematic UI issue that Pérez was trying to get fix.

What did she, Walker, Keith Gilkes, former Walker's Chief of Staff and Mike Huebsch, a former Walker's Cabinet member know at the time? What did they do to correct the UI System issues that Pérez brought up when he was Secretary of DWD in 2011? In 2011, there were about 1 million calls blocked, according to an audit from LRB.
Kleefisch also recently came out public and alleged that voter fraud actually occurred in Wisconsin that resulted in Presidential candidate Trump (R-MAGA) to lose Wisconsin and who was defeated by Joe Biden (D) in his reelection bid. Trump served one term. So far, there has not been any proof that voter fraud had occurred in Wisconsin, except a few Trump supporters getting busted for voting twice or voting for someone else in Wisconsin.
Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) learned that in 2011, Pérez, while at the DWD attempted to align Wisconsin with a strong innovative strategic workforce development plan with economic development, which at time according to Pérez lacked such a plan and was problematic as well. Pérez in an interview with WisBusiness dot com in April 2011 said, that the DWD under his leadership and the Commerce Department were working together to fix the problem by "advancing a formalized strategic planning process that starts… by identifying the core sector areas for each economic development region and each workforce development region." Pérez said, that economists will forecast short, medium and long-term labor demands for each region so that funding for training programs will mesh with the demands of industry.
"As a result, we'll increase the likelihood of alignment between training and skill development in supporting hot growth industries," he said, according to WisBusiness dot com.
However, Pérez confirmed to HNNUSA that in 2011, both Walker and Kleefisch knew about his attempt to align a strategic workforce development plan with economic development, but Walker and Kleefisch dropped Pérez' effort to accomplish the goal that would have benefited Wisconsinites in 2011 and beyond.
