Holtzclaw raped the women while on police duty because they were prostitutes and no one would believe them, but a jury did and he was convicted on 18 counts.

Oklahoma, City, Oklahoma - On Thursday, Former Oklahoma Police Officer Daniel Holtzclaw found guilty of 18 charges including rape involving 13 Afro-American women while on duty. The women were considered known prostitutes, according to the trial. Some of victims sang Happy Birthday to Holtzclaw after the conviction trial, he was convicted on his birthday.
He sexually assaulted the women victims and thought that they wouldn't believe them, if they told on him because they were prostitutes. Holtzclaw cried during his conviction in court. He will be sentence in January and is facing between 120 to 263 years in prison. Holtzclaw was a cop from December 2013 to June 2014.
The Oklahoma Police Department released a statement that they were satisfied with the jury's decision to convict Holtzclaw.
