Milwaukee, Wisconsin - The Milwaukee Police Association (MPA-union) members reelected Milwaukee Police Detective Alexander Ayala, also known as Alex Cornejo, as President of the MPA for a second term defeating Milwaukee Police Officer Scott R. Wieting Jr. who ran as a candidate to replace Ayala.
Also, Wisconsin Right Now dot com writer and journalist Jessica McBribe confirmed on her Facebook account that Ayala had defeated Wieting.
The MPA elections ran from December 3 - 7, 2025.
Ayala received 444 (53.65%) of the vote compared to Wieting who received 385 (46.4%) of the MPA vote.
The MPA will hold its annual Christmas Party tonight at Serb Hall in the Southside of Milwaukee.
