Voces de la Frontera Hypocrisy: VDLF Endorsed Aldermanic Candidate Getting Chris Abele's Leadership MKE Campaign Advertising

Voces de la Frontera Action is being criticized for their hypocrisy for endorsing a candidate in the 13th Aldermanic District who is receiving Abele's  Leardership MKE campaign advertising, when in 2018, Voces campaigned against another candidate for county supervisor that was receiving unsolicited advertising from the Leadership MKE.

Milwaukee, WI - It seems that Voces de la Frontera Action (VDLF4) 501c(4) is operating on double standards. In 2018, VDLF4 campaigned against Milwaukee County Supervisor candidate Sylvia Ortiz-Velez in the 12th District for getting unsolicited campaign advertising from Leadership MKE, a PAC associated with Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele. Ortiz-Velez was elected to the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors. Today, VDLF4 endorsed Patricia Torres Najera, who is a candidate for Alderwoman in the 13th District in the City of Milwaukee. Leadership MKE has spent more than $24K of unsolicited campaign advertising to elect Najera and VDLF4 is very aware of Abele's influence in the special election on Tuesday, July 16. So why did VDLF4 opposed Ortiz-Velez for getting unsolicited Leadership MKE campaign advertising and today endorsed Najera, despite getting unsolicited Leadership MKE campaign advertising? It's obvious, VDLF4 is controlled by White liberals who pick their own candidates that they can manipulate for their own special interests and not the Latino community's interests.
Najera has been the Chair of the City Plan Commission for a decade and was instrumental in passing the Near Southside Comprehensive Development Area Plan in 2009 that has led to gentrification and the displacing of Hispanics in the Southside predominantly Latino community in the 12th and 8th Aldermanic Districts. Najera is credited for helping to bring development in the district where Latinos reside igniting Hispanic flight to surrounding suburbs due to an increase of development attracting the middle class White population to the area and renting expensive lofts.
Also Najera attended Chris Abele's re-election kick-off campaign for County Executive in Milwaukee.
