LULAC Delegates Picked Puerto Rico For Their 2022 LULAC National Convention And Expo

The 2022 LULAC National Convention will be held in Puerto Rico.

Milwaukee, WI - On Saturday, at least 75% of the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) delegates at the 2019 LULAC National Convention and Expo at the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee voted in favor to hold their 2022 LULAC National Convention in Puerto Rico (PR). The LULAC Council from PR busted in celebration after learning that PR will the destination for the 2022 LULAC Convention.
On Thursday, the PR LULAC Council held a Discover Puerto Rico pachanga (Fiesta) at the Hilton Hotel Crystal Ballroom to promote PR for the 2022 National Convention.
Also the LULAC general delegate assembly election results on Saturday show that Domingo Garcia, the LULAC National President ran unopposed and was re-elected for 2019-2020, others re-elected were Vice-president (VP) for the Midwest Jose "JJ" Lopez; VP for the Farwest, Ralina Cardona; VP for the Northeast, Ivonne Quinones; VP for the Southeast, Elia Mendoza; VP for the Elderly, Andres Rodriguez; VP for Young Adults, Joel Lehi Organista. Newly elected National Officers: Richard Estrada, VP for the Farwest; Elsie Valdes, VP for Women; Linda Chavez, VP for the Southwest. The 2020 LULAC National Convention and Expo will be held in Washington, D.C.
