Acapulco, Guerrero, México - A video has been circulating on social media showing a Canadian citizen kissing a young girl in public. The suspect was caught on video by a witness (tourist) who called Federal Police to investigate the incident.
While police were questioning the girl's father, the suspect identified as Walter Zuck kissed one of the girls in the mouth. The suspect says that he likes the girls and girls like him, but that he is not a pedophile.
The Canadian suspect was briefly detained, but no charges were filed against him for kissing the girls in the mouth because the father wouldn't press charges.
The father of the girls says, that he knows Zuck for three years and that Zuck was only showing his affection for the girls. The tourist believes otherwise and says, that he and his family were watching from across the street how Zuck was kissing and touching the girls butt.
Since, the video and photograph of Zuck kissing and touching the girl has circulated on social media, Ramón Navarrete Magdaleno, president of the Commission in Defense for Human Rights had asked for the Federal Ministry to file a criminal complaint against Zuck, even though the father doesn't want to press charges. Magdaleno says that Zuck was definitely acting like a pedophile and wants Zuck to be charged for molesting the girls.
Numerous people held a protest in front of the local prosecutor's office demanding that charges against Zuck and the parents of a 3 and 5-year-old girls be filed. The protesters are seeking for the parents to be charged as well for not protecting their daughters from Zuck.
