Police And State Warden Investigating Live Fireworks Damage To Mechanical Lawn Mower At Lakeshore State Park

Police, state warden and Summerfest security searched for live fireworks at the Lakeshore State Park.

Milwaukee, WI - On Saturday, Milwaukee police and a state warden were at the Lakeshore State Park to investigate an explosion that damaged a man driven tractor lawn and field mower. The driver suffered slight injuries due to broken glass caused by the live fireworks explosion.
Tom Kroeger, the Lakeshore State Park Manager was also at the scene around 6:30 p.m. and said, that the field mower struck a fireworks that was live and exploded causing some damage to the mower. Kroeger did not confirmed an injury, but more than 31 Summerfest security personnel were used to convass the field to search for other live fireworks.
