Wisconsin Deer Poacher Jason Elliot Fined $1,540

29-year-old deer poacher was cited and fined for killing a buck in a Milwaukee County Park in Wauwatosa in December.

A Wauwatosa, Wisconsin deer poacher Jason Elliot, 29, of Brookfield was fined $1,540 for the December 13 unlawful hunting of a deer. His crossbow was seized and will not be able to hunt or fish for 1 year, according the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR). Elliot killed a buck called "Bow Tie" along the Menomonee River Parkway in Wauwatosa, a Milwaukee County Park.

A witness notified the DNR who later tracked Elliot, a martial artist instructor and the owner of Family TKD Champions. He was cited and fined by the DNR for not wearing orange, not tagging deer with proper tag and not having a proper license to hunt.

6,944 Milwaukee Area Vehicles Stolen In 2015, Milwaukee Police Reported

There was an 11% increased in auto thefts in the City of Milwaukee, according to Alderman Bob Donavan, a candidate for Mayor in 2016.

Milwaukee, WI - On Tuesday, Alderman Bob Donovan, a candidate for Mayor in Milwaukee this year announced, that the City of Milwaukee had an 11% increase or 7,340 vehicles stolen in 2015 compared to 2014, which 6,691 were reported stolen, according to police stats. It cost the victims in just auto lost value alone about $48M, Ald. Donovan reported.

In 2013, police reported that at least 4,386 autos were stolen, an increase of 67% by last year.

The Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) reported less vehicle thefts for 2015. MPD reported that 6,944 vehicles were stolen last year, but when MPD district total's were added, it only totaled 6,940.

Vincent Synowicz Became New Chairman For The Republican Party Of Milwaukee County - South Branch

Milwaukee, WI - On Monday, the South Branch of the Republican Party of Milwaukee County announced that Mike Pierce, the current chairman had resigned and Vincent Synowicz, the vice-chairman will take over as chairman. Synowicz confirmed his new position as chairman in his Facebook (FB) account.

Synowicz posted on FB, "Mike resigned from the post earlier this afternoon. Being the vice-chairman, I have graciously accepted the role of chairman and look forward to growing and strengthening our party!"

Synowicz formerly ran for the 8th State Assembly District seat in 2014 and was defeated by incumbent JoCasta Zamarripa, a Democrat.

The 8th State Assembly District is predominantly Hispanic and a Democratic voting district for years, according to prior state and city elections. 

Michael Schafrik's Homicide By 14-year-old Teen Ruled Justified By Milwaukee D.A.

A Milwaukee Southside 14-year-old teen will not be charged with Michael Schafrik's homicide, according to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.

Milwaukee, WI - On Monday, the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office decided not to file homicide charges against a 14-year-old teenager who was also injured while struggling with a Michael Schafrik, 40, over a handgun. Apparently, Schafrik suffered a fatal wound after he pulled a handgun on the 14-year-old teenager and the teenager managed to struggle with Schafrik when the handgun fired striking Schafrik in the stomach and striking the teenager in the thigh.

According to the teenager's sister on Facebook, the altercation started when Schafrik's stepson got him involved in an argument between two groups at the 1000 block of W. Lincoln Ave. Schafrick on January 5 around 4:30 p.m. pulled a handgun out on her brother, the 14-year-old teenager who then struggled with Schafrik to take it away and the gun fired striking both the deceased victim and the teen. 

Another 14-year-old teenager and Shada Morales Cruz, 33, were taken into custody as well. No charges will be filed against the teen and Cruz.
Cruz told police, Schafrik drove up to them and pulled a handgun, but had it tucked away when the struggle happened for the gun.

Houston's Livestock And Rodeo 2016 Music Lineup Absent Of Tejano Headliners

The lack of a major Tejano lineup in the Rodeo Houston 2016 event this year will no doubt draw huge protests by Tejano music enthusiasts.

Houston, Texas - On Monday, organizers of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (HLSR), a Texas non-profit organization that sponsors a 19-day rodeo in March announced their 2016 music lineup at the NRG arena on Facebook (RodeoHouston), which once again is absent of any major Tejano groups playing at the main events stage. The HLSR has for years discriminated against both Mexican nationals and Tejanos. 

Discrimination against Mexican nationals, the HLSR has denied scholarships to the sons and daughters of festivalgoers who attend the 19-day event, especially the Mexican genre music lineup. Los Huracanes del Norte and Band Los Recoditos were booked for March 13, the "Go Tejano Day". It seems that the HLSR 2016 major artist lineup is no exception from last year, this year once again there were no major Tejano groups scheduled to appear at the main NRG stage.

With the absence of a major Tejano group at the HLSR in March, anticipated organized protests by Tejanos are expected.

In brief, the HLSR receives funds from major corporations, sponsors and held fundraisers, including the 19-day rodeo event, which according to their federal tax reporting, they generated about $133M of revenue in 2014. In the last five years, the HLSR Educational Fund has given out more than $60M in scholarship awards to college bound students and students already in college.
In 2015, about 2,100 students attending 100 different colleges in Texas have received at least $40M in scholarships, not including grants from other sources. The HLSR committed more than $24M for the HLSR Educational Fund in 2015, according to their Web site.
Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) learned in 2015 that not one dollar of those scholarships has ever been awarded to DREAMers or undocumented student immigrants in Houston and Texas. The HLSR has a discriminatory guideline and requirement that excludes DREAMers and undocumented student immigrants from applying for scholarships, only U.S. Citizens and a Texas resident can apply for those scholarships.

El Chapo Movie Led To The Arrest Of Sinaloa Cartel Drug Lord Joaquin Guzman Loera

El Chapo was negotiating movie rights for an upcoming flick about his life and daring escapes from two federal prisons in Mexico, according to the Mexican federal Attorney General's Office.

Mexico, D.F. - On Saturday, Arely Gómez González, the federal Mexican Attorney General confirmed that Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman Loera, 57, was arrested after the Mexican government received intelligence reports that lawyers representing Guzman Loera were negotiating movie rights for an upcoming movie about El Chapo with a movie maker. The movie negotiations between attorneys from both parties led to the location where El Chapo was hiding in Los Mochis in the state of Sinaloa.

Recently, Rolling Stone Magazine released an exclusive interview by Sean Penn and Kate del Castillo, 43, with Guzman Loera. The interview by Del Castillo and Penn with El Chapo happened on October 2, according to Rolling Stone Magazine.
During the interview, El Chapo admitted to drug trafficking, which the U.S. government can use as a confession to convict him for drug trafficking.

González in a press release doesn't mention, if Penn and Del Castillo's interview contributed to discovering of a movie being negotiated by lawyers from both sides or if Penn and Del Castillo were being considered to play major parts in the movie. What Gonzalez did confirm, that her office knew that lawyers were being monitored indicating that both Del Castillo and Penn could have unknownly contributed to locating El Chapo.

Gonzalez says that her office is investigating the movie negotiations with El Chapo and the lawyers involved.

Penn or Del Castillo who resides in Los Angeles are not considered journalists, but actors who were able to get an exclusive interview with El Chapo and might have been monitored by the feds in the U.S. and Mexico. Penn wanted to interview El Chapo for the Rolling Stone Magazine and Del Castillo was the key person to have made it possible for Penn to interview El Chapo.

Credible journalists, news Tweeters, and investigative news bloggers in Mexico have been murdered and some of them have been found dismembered in isolated roads, public places and with signs of being tortured for reporting about drug lords, extortions, kidnappings, human organ trafficking, drug trafficking and drug cartel murders. 

It is to early to tell, if the U.S. Department of Justice will seek federal criminal charges against both Penn and Del Castillo for meeting with El Chapo and not reporting their encounter to the feds.

Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman Loera Will Be Extradited To U.S. Within 25 Days

The Sinaloa Cartel has less than 25 days to free their leader El Chapo from the Altiplano federal prison in Mexico before being extradited to the U.S.

Mexico, D.F. -  On Saturday, the Mexican federal Attorney General's Office (PGRF) confirmed that a legal process has been initiated to extradite Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman Loera, 57, to the U.S.  The extradition process will take less than 25 days, according to the PGRF. Guzman Loera will remain at the Altiplano Mexican federal prison where he escaped from during the extradition process. 

The Sinaloa Cartel has less than 25 days to free Guzman Loera from prison. Guzman Loera has escaped twice from a maximum federal prison and authorities are working to extradite the druglord before he attempts to escape once again.

The U.S. has filed several extradition requests on June 16 and August 31, 2015 with the Mexican Secretary of Foreign Relations. Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto is expected to act on an executive order to extradite Guzman Loera as soon as possible to avoid any attempt on the life of the druglord. Guzman Loera will most likely be expected to expose those corrupt Mexican political officials, high ranking military and federal law enforcement supervisors under his payroll. 

Guzman Loera was taken into custody in Los Mochis, Sinaloa Friday morning by Mexican Marines. A tip about a contract negotiation for the making of El Chapo movie between lawyers representing Guzman Loera and a movie maker led to Guzman Loera's arrest, according to the PGRF.

The U.S. Marshals Service is prepared to take Guzman Loera into custody any day, according to federal sources. Guzman Loera's extradition to the U.S. will be discreet for security purposes.

Once in the U.S., Guzman Loera is expected to spend the rest of his life in a federal prison, if convicted for drug trafficking and money laundering.
