Black Community Advocacy Groups Condemned MPA President Alexander Ayala's Call On Trump To Deploy MAGA National Guard In Milwaukee

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On Wednesday, multiple Black advocacy groups released the following public statement on Milwaukee Police Union President Alexander Ayala's call for National Guard deployment in the City of Milwaukee.

We are deeply disturbed by the decision of Milwaukee Police Union President Alexander Ayala to publicly call on President Donald Trump to send National Guard troops into the City of Milwaukee. This action is reckless, unconstitutional, and blatantly disrespectful to both the citizens of Milwaukee and the very officers Mr. Ayala claims to represent.

By asking for military intervention in a City governed by elected leadership, Mr. Ayala has demonstrated a complete lack of faith in the Milwaukee Police Department's ability to perform its duties—and in his own ability to lead. A union president's role is to protect and uplift officers, not to undermine their credibility or call for military occupation against the people they are sworn to serve.

This call signals not only a dangerous flirtation with fascist and authoritarian tactics, but also a disturbing disregard for civil liberties, community trust, and democratic governance. The people of Milwaukee elect their leaders—not police unions, not external militias, and certainly not bewildered  union presidents that can't lead or find solutions, and questions the authority of our local government.

On behalf of GodsGang, The Moore Resource and Strategy Group, and the citizens we stand with across Milwaukee, we call for the immediate resignation of Alexander Ayala as President of the Milwaukee Police Association. If you do not believe in your officers, if you do not trust the people of Milwaukee, and if your first instinct is to reach for military suppression rather than community solutions—then you are unfit to lead, and those who share your beliefs should step down with you.

Milwaukee deserves leadership grounded in courage, compassion, and accountability—not cowardice masked as strength.

Enough is enough. Step aside, Mr. Ayala.

In brief: The MAGA infiltrated Milwaukee Police Association endorsed Trump for President in 2020 and in 2024. Trump was defeated by Joe Biden (D) in 2020, and lost Wisconsin. Then in 2024, Trump (R-MAGA) defeated Kamala Harris (D) and was elected president.

The City of Milwaukee has a majority of Democrat voters and has been instrumental in electing public officials in the state and nationally.

A federal judge just ruled that Trump and Pete Hegseth, the Secretary of Defense violated federal law when they allowed the National Guard (NG) to assist USICE in immigration enforcement in California. The NG is prohibited by federal law to enforce domestic law and make arrests of civilians.

Hegseth is accused of violating two different clauses of the U.S. Constitution: the Posse Comitatus Act. The Posse Comitatus Act limits the use of federal military personnel for domestic law enforcement. U.S. District Judge Charles Breyer's ruling cited actions such as "security patrols, traffic control, crowd control, and riot control" as unlawful, CNN dot com reported.

The MAGA Trump NG that is being deployed in Blue states like California and Illinois come from 6 red states, which Republican governors from West Virginia, South Carolina, Mississippi, Louisiana, Ohio, and Tennessee have sent troops to help Trump in his attempt to curve crime.

The National Guard deployed to Blue states is most likely infiltrated by White supremacists and Trump supporters who will follow Trump's orders, even if his orders are illegal and unconstitutional.
