Jóse Alberto López Sentenced To 7 Years In Prison For One Felony Of Causing Harm To A Child In Milwaukee, Charges Reduced In Plea Agreement

López sentenced to 7 years in prison in a guilty plea agreement to reduced charges, one felony count and two misdemeanor counts, according to court records.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - Jóse A. López, 45, aka, Alberto López, El Principe De Los Teclados who is known as a solo singing entertainer in the Southside of Milwaukee was sentenced on March 28, 2024 to 7 years in prison with 3 years confinement and 4 years supervision with 758 days credit (25 months, 1 week and 1 day or 2 years and 28 days), according to court records. López pleaded guilty to reduced charges, one felony count for causing mental harm to a child and two misdemeanor counts for 4th-degree sexual assault and obstructing an officer. In the misdemeanor charges, López was sentenced to 9 months in the Milwaukee County House of Corrections for each count, and will be served concurrently (at the same time) with the felony conviction.

López was previously charged in January 2022 with three felony counts, one count for 1st-degree sexual assault of a child-sexual contact with a person under the age of 13, second count for 2nd-degree sexual assault of child and third count for 3rd-degree sexual assault.
