Racine, Wisconsin - On Thursday, Alejandro Sierra, 30, was taken into custody by Racine police after he surrendered. A social media video posted on Facebook by Alyssa Thomas shows Sierra on the pavement telling police to please handcuff him because he didn't want to be killed by police. Sierra told police that he defecated in his pants during arrest.
Sierra surrendered to police just two blocks from the Racine Police Department at 9th and Center Streets.
He identified himself to police as the person (ex-boyfriend) wanted for the April 15 homicide of Alexis "Lexi" Marie Fisher, 36, a mother of five children in Racine near State and Spring Streets around 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, who died from a gunshot wound at the scene. Sierra was charged Monday with 1st-degree intentional homicide in Fisher's murder.
If convicted, Sierra is facing life in prison without the possibility of parole.
The U.S. Marshals Service also wanted Sierra for the murder of Fisher.
In May 2022, Sierra was charged with one felony count for stalking, one misdemeanor count for telephone harassment, two misdemeanor counts for disorderly conduct, six misdemeanor counts for bail jumping and criminal trespassing. Sierra was also charged with three misdemeanor counts for bail jumping, one misdemeanor count each for possession of a firearm while intoxicated, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct with use of a dangerous weapon.
If convicted on all counts, Sierra is facing up to 12 years and 6 months in prison and up to $143,000 in fines, according to court records.
