Latinos/Hispanics and Immigration Reform left out of the first U.S. Presidential Debates 2020
September 30, 2020
Both presidential candidates, Joe Biden (D) and Donald Trump (R-MAGA) failed to discuss or even mention Comprehensive Immigration Reform, U.S.ICE immigration enforcement systematic racism or the plight that undocumented immigrants and their children are enduring while detained by ICE and private contractors including undocumented women being illegally sterilized while in U.S. ICE centers including federal contract facilities and children of undocumented parents placed in cages during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Trump administration and ICE have systematically failed to reunite thousands of separated children with their deported or detained undocumented parents, which a federal judge has ruled for ICE to release and reunite the children with their undocumented parents.
According to commercialized mainstream media, COVID-19 is spreading and surging in ICE detention centers and federal/private prisons where undocumented immigrants are held.
Also neither Biden and Trump offered COVID-19 stimulus relief for undocumented taxpayers who have been suffering from the high rate of unemployment and business failure of no fault of their own including millions of unemployed U.S. workers and the failing small businesses throughout the nation, but due to the Coronavirus pandemic under Trump's mishandling of the COVID-19 surge and spread.
Biden called Trump, a liar, clown, a racist and to asked him to "shut up" during Trump's bullying tactic during the debate to interrupt him while he was speaking. Trump also said that he paid millions of dollars of taxes in 2016, when in fact he only paid $750 in taxes and $0 taxes for a decade due to claiming loses of business revenue, according to the NY Times.
Biden and his Vice-presidential candidate Kamela Harris from the Democratic Presidential ticket released their income tax filings for 2019 earlier in the day before the debate. Trump has refused to release his income tax filings.
Before and after Poll results: CNN reporting Biden as the winner of the first debacle debate with 60% compared to Trump with 28%.
