Milwaukee, WI - On Friday, Milwaukee County Supervisor Peggy Romo West confirmed that she has been in contact with her young daughter Catalina West-Esquivel after she went missing for several days. Members of the Milwaukee Southside community began to circulate photos of missing West-Esquivel including one with an unidentified male friend in Facebook.
West-Esquivel was reported missing to police and on Friday, Supervisor Romo West thanked the community for their kind efforts to help locate West-Esquivel. Supervisor Romo West posted, "Thank you very much for the outpouring of support. I'm sorry I cannot get back to everyone but please know I have been in touch with Catalina West-Esquivel. She has been reported missing however she is rebelling so she is safe somewhere I just don't know where. My family & I are very grateful and appreciate the prayers."
A group of people plan to meet on W. Grant and S. 16th St. at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday to help locate West-Esquivel in support for Supervisor Romo West.
