Caloocan, Philippines - On Tuesday, police released a photo taken by Councilman Reynaldo Dagsa, 35, moments before he was shot multiple times in front of family members in a driveway. Dagsa was taking photos shortly after midnight Saturday, January 1, outside his Maypajo residence driveway where his car was parked. While four family members, including his daughter and wife posed for a picture next to the car, a man came over, pointed a gun at Dagsa and shot him several times.
The suspect was captured on the photo and family members released it to police. Caloocan City Police Chief Jude Santos confirmed that on Sunday they were able to arrest Miguel Gonzales Pollon, of Barangay and Rommel Oliva an accomplice in Manila in connection with Dagsa's death.
The unidentified shooter fired a .45 Caliber handgun and fatally wounded Dagsa in the right forearm and chest. Dagsa was rushed to the Martínez Hospital where he later died.
