27-year-old Man Sentenced For Killing Homeless Man

Milwaukee - Last week, Matthew Eric McAfee, 27, of Cudahy was sentenced to 69 years, but will serve 52 years in prison for the homicide conviction of Kelly Graf, 29, in October of 2008. Graf who was homeless at the time of his death was living in a near by wooded area at the 700 block of S. 56th St.
McAfee will serve 40 years of 50 years for first-degree reckless homicide and 10 years of supervision, will serve 2 years in prison and 2 years of supervision of 4 years for being a felon in possession of a weapon, and will serve 10 years in prison and 5 years of extended supervision of 15 years for armed robbery, according to court records. Sentences to be served consecutively.
McAfee and three others attacked and murdered Graf for allegedly taking nude cell phone photos of a 15-year-old girl. The cell phone and photos of the teenager were never recovered by Mcafee or police.
In connection with Graf’s murder, Kyle James King, 26, of Okauchee was sentenced to three years in prison and four years of extended supervision for felony battery; and Timothy J. Fuchs, 33, of Milwaukee, convicted of felony murder, is scheduled to be sentenced July 28.
Sean J. Smith, 18, of Milwaukee was charged with felony murder and battery and is scheduled for trial on Oct. 19.
