Guadalupe, Nuevo León, Mexico - On Tuesday, Mexican authorities reported the arrest of María Guadalupe Jiménez López, 26, aka, "La Tosca" who is accused of leading a Zeta cell in Nuevo León. Jorge Domene Zambrano, Spokesman for the Nuevo León Investigatiion Agency (AEI) announced that on May 1, López and six members of the Zetas had been taken into custody in the municipality of Guadalupe. The were stopped by AEI agents when they were spotted driving a stolen vehicle without license plates in the Guadalupe Victoria neigborhood.
Those arrested with López were Raúl Hernández Martínez Muñoz, 20, aka, "El Negro," César Alberto Urbina Rodríguez, 18, aka, "El Pippen," Miguel Ángel Salas Valdés, 26, aka, "El Miqui," Julia Alcantar Briseño, 49, Perla Cecilia Hernández Alcantar, 18, and Virginia Elizabeth Galván Alcantar, 30. The three woman worked at a bar in Guadalupe, according to Zambrano.
López and the six suspects allegedly were involved and are expected to be charged with multiple homicides, kidnappings, extortion and the distribution of drugs in the region.
López allegedly extorted money from 14 businesses and in return her group provided protection.
López is also believed to have participated in 20 homicides and in the death of a law enforcement investigator Antonio Montiel Álvarez. López and two members of the Zetas managed to kill Álvarez during an ambuse while he patrolled an area, according to the criminal complaint.

MPD Chief Flynn Fires Officer For Striking Handcuffed Female Suspect While Inside A Squad Vehicle

Police Officer Schoen, a nine year veteran with the Milwaukee Police Department has been fired by Chief Flynn for using excessive force on a prisoner.

Milwaukee - On Monday, the Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) Source reported that Edward Flynn, Police Chief had officially fired Officer Richard Schoen, 42, for using excessive force on May 1, in connection with striking a female suspect while handcuffed and sitting behind a squad car. The department described the incident as "a violation of the core value of restraint, as described in the department’s Code of Conduct."
The MPD Source report stated, that "on September 22, 2011, at 9:18 p.m., Schoen punched a prisoner in the face, removed her from the squad by her hair and struck her to the body with his knee, while she was handcuffed in the squad. Schoen conducted a traffic stop of the woman at 9 p.m. in the 4100 block of N. 51st Blvd. The driver became argumentative and used profanity, resulting in her arrest.
"Upon arrival at the District 7 garage, the prisoner began to stomp her left leg on the floor of the squad and yelled that her leg hurt. Schoen opened the rear passenger door and attempted to pull the prisoner out by the bottom of her shirt. He then entered the rear passenger compartment and struck her in the face. He grabbed her hair and pulled her from the squad. Once on the ground, Schoen delivered a knee strike to the prisoner’s stomach," according to the MPD Source.

Sergeant Wentzel Resigns From Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department After Feds Filed Child Porno Charges

Milwaukee - On Monday, Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department Captain Scott Stiff announced in a news release that Deputy Sergeant Philip "Phil" H. Wentzel, 44, had resigned from the department effective May 7. Last week, Sergeant Wentzel was charged in a federal indictment for drugging young girls ranging in ages from 6 to 14 years of age at the Campbellsport campground in Fond du Lac County and then video taping them while performing sexually explicit acts, including taking photos of them while drugged. So far, three of the victims have been identified.
Wentzel then shared the videos and images with others in the child porno internet trade. Most of the sexual assault images of the young girls were traced to two locations that were pinned down by the feds through computer ID account locations. He began sharing the child porno with other men in April 2011, according to the criminal complaint.
Wentzel was connected to producing child porno when feds raided a home in Denver in July 2011. Several of Wentzel's computer ID accounts were discovered to be sharing videos and images with the Denver location and its user.
Wentzel had been producing child porno, since two years ago. He filed for a divorce from his wife last year.
If convicted, Wentzel is facing from 15 to 30 years in prison and up to $250,000 in fines.

Alazán de Huetamo Headlines Cinco de Mayo Celebration At Chavez Drive In Milwaukee

Milwaukee - On Saturday, Carlos Alberto Rios-Maldonado, best known as El Alazán de Huetamo and his show of horses made a special presentation at the first annual Cinco de Mayo local festival at the Club International parking lot on S. Cesar E. Chavez Drive. El Alazán began his career in 1999 as a song writer, singer and showcases his horses during his singing performances at shows and festivals in both Mexico and the U.S. He is originally from Michoacan, Mexico, but on Facebook he added Chicago as the city where he currently lives.
El Alazán has recorded at least six CD's in his career.
Hundreds of people attended the two day outdoor festival at the 900 block of S. Chavez Drive, despite 50 degree weather on both days.
The entrance to the festival had no cover, several groups and bands performed during the outdoor event. Mexican food, crafts and beer was also available at the event.
The Cinco de Mayo is celebrated to recognize the May 5, 1862 Battle of Puebla in Mexico. A poorly equiped army of Mexican peasants defeated the mighty French army, which wanted to form an independent French empire in Mexico.
Today, the Cinco de Mayo day celebrations have become more commercialized in the U.S. and adds to the contemporary  recognition of the Mexican-American culture, its roots and traditional foods, music and dances.

Nine Bodies Discovered Hanging From A Nuevo Laredo Bridge In Mexican Bordertown

The women killed might have been raped before being murdered, but authorities haven't confirmed the forensic results.

Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico - On Saturday, the Mexican Secretary of National Defense (Sedena) reported that on Friday, 23 bodies had been found in two locations in the bordertown of Nuevo Laredo. Fourteen dismembered bodies with their heads missing in black plastic garbage bags were recovered after 9:00 a.m. inside a vehicle in front of the Mexican Customs Clearance Agents Association office and their severed heads inside portable ice coolers were found several hours later near city hall.Another nine bodies, four women and five men were found around 1:00 a.m. on Friday hanging from a bridge along the National highway and Luis Donaldo Blvd. A narcosign found near the bodies alleged that those who were killed were members of the Gulf Cartel sent to take over the Nuevo Laredo drug trade. The victims were also accused of being part of a group from the Gulf Cartel that ignited a car bomb at the Public Security Municipal building on April 24. The narcosign didn't include who wrote it or who committed the horrific homicides, but authorities suspect the Zetas were involved.
The bodies, which have not been identified showed signs of torture and mutilation, according to a preliminary forensic examine. Speculation was raised, that the women killed might have been raped before being murdered, but authorities have not confirmed, if any signs of sexaul assaults had occurred.
The Gulf Cartel is part of the Pacific Federation criminal enterprise led by the Cartel de Sinaloa that was formed to eliminate Los Zetas and any other competition inorder to control the multibillion drug trade routes along the bordertowns between Mexico and the U.S., according to Sedena.
On April 17, fourteen bodies were found and a narco message indicated that Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman Loera and Sinaloa Cartel had arrived in Nuevo Laredo to eliminate Los Zetas.
Mexican authorities continue to investigate the homicides.

Milwaukee Police Sergeant Charged For Drunk Driving After Crashing Into A House

Milwaukee - Last Tuesday, a Milwaukee police sergeant was taken into custody after crashing into a home near the 7900 block of W. Howard Ave. No one was reported injured in the incident, but police sergeant Charles Cross, 49, was placed in administrative duty with pay until the outcome of the case.
Cross' blood alcohol exceeded twice the legal limit permitted of 0.08 when tested.
Cross is currently under investigation for theft after claiming he had worked overtime, which he did not. He was fired once from the department on allegations that he violated department policy. Later, Cross won his appeal with the Fire and Police Commission and was rehired.

Feds Charged Milwaukee County Sheriff's Deputy Supervisor With Producing Child Porno And Molesting Girls

Milwaukee - On Wednesday, special agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) arrested Milwaukee County Sheriff Deputy Sergeant Philip "Phil" H. Wentzel, 41, of West Allis on federal charges for producing child pornography, the U.S. Attorney's Office in Milwaukee confirmed. Wentzel was taken into custody where he worked and appeared in federal court on Thursday. A federal judge found that there was enough probable cause, evidence and ordered Wentzel held and bound him for trial. His next preliminary hearing is scheduled for next Wednesday.
Sergeant Wentzel has been suspended with pay pending the outcome of the case and remains at the Waukesha County Jail, according to court records.
Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke confirmed that Wentzel was arrested at the sheriff's department.
Wentzel confessed that he had uncontrolled urges to molest young girls by drugging them, then took pictures and videos of them performing sex. Most of the sexual assaults of young girls occurred in two locations that were pinned down by the feds through computer ID account locations. He began sharing the child porno with other men in April 2011, according to the criminal complaint.

If convicted, Wentzel is facing from 15 to 30 years in prison.
