15-year-old Hispanic Male And 18-year-old Hispanic Female Fatally Shot On X-mas Day 2024 In The Southside Of Milwaukee

On X-mas day, Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office was called to the 1100 block of S. 37 Street where a 15-year-old male was pronounced deceased at the scene and a 18-year-old female later died at a local hospital. Both were shot while in a vehicle in the Southside of Milwaukee.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - Milwaukee Police reported that around 11:25 a.m. officers responded to the 1100 block of S. 37 Street after gunshots were fired and located a 15-year-old Hispanic male that suffered head and side gunshot wounds and a 18-year-old Hispanic female that suffered 2 gunshot wounds to the head and 2 gunshots in the leg while inside a vehicle.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office pronounced the 15-year-old male deceased at the scene, and the 18-year-old female later died at a local hospital.

Exziel Rivera, 15, was identified as the deceased victim. The 18-year-old deceased female was identified as Nayah Vásquez.

Both homicide victims were in a vehicle that apparently crashed into a house after someone shot into their vehicle.

Police are looking at nearby surveillance camera videos to identity the suspect(s) connected to the double homicide in the Southside of Milwaukee on Christmas Day.
