18-year-old Lynnette Trinkle Died After Hanging Out From A Vehicle Window And Allegedly Losing Her Grip Of A Speeding Vehicle At The S. 35th Viaduct And Canal St.

Trinkle suffered head trauma after allegedly losing her grip while she was hanging out the window frame of a speeding vehicle at the North and Southbound 35th Street bridge viaduct and Canal Street, she struck the pavement after striking the rear of the vehicle.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - On early Sunday, Milwaukee police and the Milwaukee Fire Department EMS around 2:33 a.m. responded to the South and North 35th Street bridge viaduct and Canal Street after a woman was reported injured after falling from the window frame of a speeding vehicle. Police found Lynnette Trinkle, 18, at the 100 block of N. 35 St. bridge viaduct with head injuries. 

The preliminary investigation indicated that Trinkle had been hanging out of the window frame of a speeding vehicle when she lost her grip and fell striking the rear of the vehicle and pavement along the viaduct. She died from head trauma injurings, according to police.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.

Police say, the vehicle that Trinkle was a passenger off was going between 40 to 50 mph on a 35 mph zone. Police continue to investigate the fatal incident.

Update: The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported on Monday that police indicated that Trinkle was 18, but the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office reported she was 21. 

Hispanic News Network U.S.A. (HNNUSA) also first reported on Sunday that Trinkle was 21 and revised her age when police reported on Monday she was 18.
