Wisconsin Representative Pedro Colón (Dem.) will start on September 20th as Milwaukee County Circuit Judge for the 18th Branch

Madison - On Wednesday, outgoing Governor Jim Doyle announced the appointment of State Represetative Pedro Colón (Dem.) as the new Milwaukee Circuit Court Judge for Branch 18th. The vacancy became available by the resignation of Judge Patricia McHahon.
Colón will be sworn in and take office on September 20th and his term will expire on July 31, 2011, according to the Governor's Office.
He was elected as a State Representative in the 8th District in 1998 and served for 12 years. Colón received a Law degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1994 and his under graduate degree from Marquette University in 1994. He been in private practice since 1994.
