Palmarito, Tochapan, México - On Wednesday, el Diario Cambio released a security video, which contradicts the Mexican military version of what had occurred on May 3 where 11 military personnel were reported injured, 4 soldiers were killed and 6 civilians were also killed during a three hour gun battle by unknown attackers. The military version of the incident says, that a military unit came under fire just after 8:00 p.m. by unknown assailants who used women and children as human shilelds.
The military was called to investigate an incident where gasoline was stolen by unknown suspects.
The released video by El Diario Cambio showed a different version of the incident where three unarmed men in a vehicle were fired upon by the military and then one of the victims who was wounded, was dragged and while face down on the ground bleeding, a Mexican soldier shot him in the back of the head while other soldiers looked on.
The cold blooded killing of the male victim has drawn concern in the area where the incident occurred that the Mexican military is corrupt and committing murder of innocent people.
The Mexican government hasn't come forward yet to address the brutal cold blooded murder of the victim in Palmarito.
