Police at Milwaukee 2nd District Police Station under Captain Salazar locked the front doors to keep Hispanics, Whites and Blacks from seeking information in the shooting homicide death of Emilio Garza, also known as Filigonio Ramirez Montes, the Elote (corn on the cob) street vendor.

Milwaukee, WI - On Saturday, a march was held seeking Justice for Emilio Garza, known as Filigonio Ramirez Montes, 52, el Señor Elote Man, vendedor de elotes in the Southside of Milwaukee who was fatally shot multiple times during an armed robbery on August 28, 2020 at the 2100 block of S. 11th Street.
The modest march began at the Butterfly Park at the 1300 block of W. Forest Home Ave. to Milwaukee 2nd District Police Station.
No key organizer of Saturday's event for Emilio wanted to be identified.
The people seeking Justice for Emilio walked to the Milwaukee 2nd District Police Station at 245 W. Lincoln Ave., but the front doors to the police station were locked. The diverse group of people wanted to speak to the immediate police supervisor, but Police Sgt. Geniesse would not open the door to speak to them. The recent appointed police Captain David Salazar nor the lieutenant of the shift weren't available.
In other words, the 2nd District Police Station was not providing services to Latinos, Whites and Blacks, under acting Police Chief Michael Brunson.
