Impromptu Flag Parading And Reckless Driving On W. Historic Mitchell St. Shuts Down Traffic Flow

Milwaukee police stopped and cited multiple drivers for reckless driving involved in impromptu flag parading along W. Historic Mitchell Street.

Milwaukee, WI - On Sunday, Milwaukee police blocked W. Historic Mitchell Street between S. 15th Street to S. Cesar E. Chaves Drive after stopping multiple vehicles and cited some of the drivers for reckless driving while involved in impromptu flag parading without a permit while exhibiting Puerto Rican flags. A person driving a ATV on the street was stopped by police as well. Most of the drivers involved in the impromptu parade had just left the Puerto Rican Fest that took place at Humboldt Park. The one-day Puerto Rican Festival ended at 6:00 p.m.
One vehicle was towed, according to police. The impromptu parading and reckless driving along W. Histoic Mitchell Street attracted crowds of spectators.
