Mexican Military Discovered 5.3 Tons Of Marijuana In Zacatecas

Two trucks were abandoned with 5.3 tons of marijuana, according Mexican feds.

García de la Cadena, Zacatecas, Mexico - On Thursday, the Secretary of Governence (Segob) announced that Mexican military during a routine patrol spotted to abandoned trucks in the community of Ceja in the Municipality of García de la Cadena, Zacatecas. When military personnel searched the trucks they discovered 487 packages in one truck and 300 packages in the second truck, the Mexican federal Attorney General's Office (PGRF) reported.
The packages contained marijuana. An ongoing investigation continues to locate the drug traffickers that abandoned the marijuana shipment, according to the PGRF.
